    About the weapons :

    I personally decided to get the Crimson bow. I was really in love with it and I use bows only - for me, the crossbows look like a tree attached to your hand and the slingshots are like toys and this is why I don't have any experience with xbows or slings.

    However some people prefer to wait until 85 and get Broadland because they can resell it later while the Crimson is stuck with you forever. I've also seen archers using the 69 slingshot because of the higher APS they can reach.

    Personally I decided to get the Soulsmasher and keep it until 95 when I`m planning to get Heaven Shatterer, but that's just my point of view, the rest of the archers will be able to help you as well. b:bye

    I has Crimson Horn: Soulsmasher. b:pleased Waiting to get to 80 to use it. b:sad

    I will also be using a Windcatcher... And I will be keeping my Wind and the Clouds for the APS. I'm also going to keep making TT crossbows... I'm a weapons packrat by nature, I've currently got Spirit's Breath, Unicorn, Wind and Clouds, and Fists (Annihilator of Souls).

    As for right when you hit 80, I think Crimson Horn is the best stats wise, and it has -int on it. Windcatcher is appealing with -int and +range on it. Windcatcher actually would be pretty nice for a Sage archer going for range and dph. Also nice for a Demon archer going for DPS.

    Broad Land obviously is going to be in another league than Crimson Horn, but... It cost me 1.6 mil for two Golden Spirits, and I farmed the rest of the mats for Crimson... You can't really farm FCC for a Broad Land, so that leaves buying it, and at 15-20 mil, that's a lot of coin (on Sanct, that's average price). Plus, I have noticed that you can get one with 0 sockets... That weighs in for me, I like to shard my gear. =\

    As for can't be resold, that's true. But, TT80 Gold can be stashed to another character (thinking... Sin here) so it's not a complete waste.

    For budget options, Windcatcher would be appealing. I picked up the mold for mine for 50k. b:victory

    When talking about bows and stuff Crimson bow is the best bow till lvl 99 or R8 gear .. I got one and i love it. trying to refine it to +10 atm its +5

    I personally think that +5 Soulsmasher with immacs would do a better work until you can get Heaven Shatterer for example. It would really cost you loads of coins to refine it to +10 ( considering that you will use Dragon Orbs for the refining over 5 ). And if you already have the rep for R8 and you just need some weapon in your hands until 100 it's definitely better to leave the Soulsmasher at +5.

    Don't get me wrong, I`m using the same bow myself :)

    That's at least my opinion.

    I tried that bow didnt really like it.. I like the intervals that the Crimson(2 socket) gives me .. and the buff it gives is nice sometimes and i dont use Immaculate i use Alabaster shards on my bow +200 metal damage with both shards ... excellent damage on wizards and HA/LA

    Vast Land , lvl 85 green FF bow is cheaper , can be resold and outdmgs the Crimson Soulsmasher. My personal choice.

    You forgot to mention the Guardian of the Realm. Before the Divine Order Quests was almost impossible to get a hold of (found a mold for like 2mil in a Catshop myself) but a viable weapon none the less. It's effectivly free, refines better than Vast Land or CH:SS (though oddly enough has less base damage than the Vast Land, IDK why) and has decent adds.

    The Proc add isn't that bad either. Boosts my Patk from around 6.1k to well over 7k for a good 8 seconds, and gives you MP (Doesn't impair you like most other bow damage procs). Plus, how easily availible it is now, you can't aruge anymore than the other bows are cheaper xP

    While it may refine better than Vast Land, it will take an inordinate amount of refines for it to actually out-damage Vast Land. The base damage on Vast Land is just large, and the only thing that beats it is Broad Land.

    The CH:SS has a bit less damage and refine, but the +Max attack add makes it's max damage probably a bit better at the lower refines.

    Yeah, the Guardian of the Realm has less Patk than the Vast Land, but with Divine orders it is REAL easy to get, and the Proc does add over 1k more damage atm for me, which would put it over the vast land when proc'd. Ijs its comparable to other bows in the level range, but the other bows can't even compare to price of it. Not to mention NO guide i've seen mentions it, just kinda discovered it by accident myself.

    Guardian of the Ream was easily obtainable only recently. I haven't updated my guides in a long time.

    Vast Land goes for under 1m on HT, which is why I keep recommending it. I mean, I understand free is good, but 800k for a better weapon is not asking for much, at level 85.
