can someone please explain to me how to complete their quests so as to collect the honors of light.
i would really like to get the legendary weapons that they offer as rewards.

    Be on the lookout for blue or purple divine contracts. Those are the only ones that provide the honors. The white divine contracts only give XP.

    Getting a blue / purple quest is entirely random.

    I went all a full 7 consecutive days with only white quests.

    Just in case, and aside from the answers you already got, at your posting toon level you can't get honors of the light anymore. They are restricted to levels 20 through 50.

    Also honors of the light can be used to craft at most level 8 weapons, which are aimed at lvl50 toons (gale hammers, penetrator bow...).

    If you want a weapon for the toon you are posting with you need honors of the shadow which you can get between levels 50 through 80.

    If it's for a lower level alt you may have to get and do the quest with it; or if you like extra-easy mode you can get the quest and then squad someone to kill the mobs for you since there are no soloing requirements.

    P.S.: The weapons are not tradeable.

    technically he can, because divine honors of the shadow can be traded in for honors of the light at one of the emissaries. whether or not this is worth doing, i'm unsure of.

    I don't think you can trade divine honor of shadow for divine honor of light. I'm pretty sure you can only trade divine honor of the void for the others.
