I haven't seen many people seriously levelling on the open map in a long while, making the pre-40 levels a bit dull. To be honest, I ended up solo'ing most of the low level quests on my later characters.

I'd recommend looking for a faction and/or playing with people you know IRL, if they play as well.

Once you hit 40 and start levelling through bh's, it should be easier to meet people within your level bracket and you can start squading with the same people more often and develop a good list of people to do things other than BHs with.

Try looking for people in the area. Hit 't' to open the squad menu. It will list anyone who's near by. It never hurts to ask someone if they want to team up for a quest or two.

There just aren't nearly as many people out doing quests as there used to be.

Another tip of advice, join an active faction. One that will help you with hard quest, and that chit-chat a bit. I myself hate it when i'm in a squad and no one talks cus they are to focus on the task ahead.

(If its s run, bh, or fb i understand but if it's just kill 40 of these things or 25 of those things, you should be able to atleast say hi and talk abit about what you like or something intresting, right?)

Which is why I'm considering rolling my seeker and mystic on a PvE server. Kinda defeats the purpose of PvP servers when there's almost no one to kill on the open map.

Well, if you want people to talk then you have to start with yourself. I've found that not shutting up gets one of two reactions-
1- The other squad members start to talk also.
2- Someone tells me to shut up at which point I drop the squad and kill him/her before entering stealth and TPing away.
You have three chances to guess the reason for the post above.
