PGGA VS Absolute Dominator

Firstly, ill link the two weapons

Now, here's my Question, for 85-9X which of these weapons is better
Now im thinking Tanking, BH, FCC, Grinding, DDing, TT, etc,
The PGGA's have a very spread out dmg, but also have chi shield, so that would make tanking easier
The Absolute Dominator's have a Closer Dmg spread also have the chance for 3second stun, which im assuming is 20% proc rate?

At the least the PGGA will give me an extra 443 HP
The Absolute Dominator's will give me more Dmg, which should help me hold agro, shouldn't it?

On Sanctuary its looking at costing me 14-16mill to make it with FCC sign force,

So All input is welcome, which of these two weapons is better to use?

    I have never seen anyone with those hammers, and with good reason. They're not really useful, and stun is an okish mod but really only for PvP, as it doesn't work on bosses, plus it has a really low proc rate.

    PGGA gets my vote. Actually, for the 85-90 range my votes goes in order TT90 gold Calloused Lionheart, TT90 green Star Axes, Gatherstorms, PGGA, Absolute Dominator. First two are level 90 though.

    So why PGGA over Absolute Dominator. I was looking into Nirvana axes to share between my barb and BM and I saw the sexy stun proc on some axes. When asking around I found this was more often a problem because you're either fighting a boss where it does no good, or you're zhening groups and the 3 second stun "blocks" the bm's 6 second aoe stun then the mob is immediately released. It drove a few people nuts during FCC and lead to unstunned mobs aggroing DDers who pulled aggro and dieing.

    The experiences I've seen PGGA is people luuuuuuving them for about 8-10 levels. Then they refine theirtt90 gear a bit since now it's high level gear, feel comfortable with their hp, and start wishing they had more damage with their puny axes. Still, that's 8-10 levels of hapiness and bliss with an axe until they level past its real usefulness. It's a great axe for doing pulls in FCC. Can even be great later for Delta.

    My opinion of which is better:
    Tanking - PGGA
    BH - PGGA
    FCC - PGGA
    Grinding - AD
    DDing - AD
    TT - PGGA
    Overall - PGGA

    Wait until level 90 and get yourself a set of GXs. They are the only weapon you'll ever need.

    Great for everything including tanking, grinding, +hp.

    People may say they are no good because its cost hp...

    Grinding: Bestial Rage, Sunder.
    Tanking: Good Cleric
    PvP: HP charm, pots, and genie

    I've had mine since level 90 and I've tried almost every weapon you can get from 85 to 100 and I like them the best. Only way I would switch is if I could get r9 axes or nirvana axes with GoF or SS.

    Rank 8 is grade 14. Gx is grade 11. Grade determines the bonuses that refining gives.

    So the only way that could be true is if Gx had a higher grade than R8, which it doesn't.

    You're right. Was thinking a the Lunar Axes vs Rank 8 argument. It's true Rank 8 refining sucks a bit, though. I'll edit my post to get rid of that error. But the OP was asking us about lvl 85 and 90 axes and Rank 8 is 100.

    I was referring to kasamir saying Gx is superior to everything but R9 or nirvana with GoF


    R8 refining very nice. Only thing that would refine higher would be lunar gold, R9, or nirvana tier 2. And lunar gold is complete garbage.

    yeah yeah, alright thanks for that guys, at lvl 90 im planing on getting TT90 gold axes, so yeah, basicaly the FCC gold weps will only be for 5 lvls
    but thanks for the input.

    rank 8 isn't an option for me, i dont have that sort of cash under my belt

    I honestly Cbf getting enough rep for R8,
    im lazy what can i say?
    I might consider it, but in the next 20 lvls i cant really see my self getting 10k rep isnt it for R8? and 60Mill coin.

    Again, thanks for the input, i guess ill stick with using TT80 for now.

    Its actually 200k reputation for R8. And I farmed Full Rank 8 + Immac shards, sans the belt in FOUR days. Gold was selling at 600k average during the last General Summers' sale and uncanny crystals were going for a 450k average. It didn't take entirely many nirvana runs to get the gold needed to buy my rep. Then just a few more to build the gear. Then i just got lazy on farming for a bit but now all my armor is +5 and weapon +4. Aaaand.. I'm not even a claw barb.

    If you're already looking at a 15 mil weapon you wont use but for 5 levels and have decided to forgo that for 90 GX, which is out damaged by r8 10 levels later - and you FC and BH, you won't be using your GXs very long either (not if you level at the rate everyone else seems to these days). So you may as well just save your money up. I used a cudgel of ancient alloy for my multi purpose weapon from 79 - 90 which is when I got Star Axes. At 97 I went with the Dragon's Vibrancy (cheap *** legendary weapon) which - truth be told - is about equivalent to the 99 gold weapons (which I happen to have both of, refined +4).

    rank 8 unrefined blows 99 gold +4 out of the water.
