Magic weapons

ok i was wondering if Seekers could use Magic weapons or if they can only use swords??

    Only swords.

    And why the hell would you EVER want to use a magic weapon in the first place? All seeker's attacks are based on phys attack (yes, even the magic attacks are based on your phys dmg)

    i had an idea on how a seaker could do like 290446.156 damage in 1 attack =)

    With a sword that deals less physical damage than a regular one?

    never mind the lesser phys damage of a magic sword. where are you planning on getting the mag stats to wield it...?

    say a lvl 100 puts 54 into str and the res (451) into magic then added stats of arcane equipment will give him 8111 manna, using Skill Yataghan Vortex ( the never ending AOE) it will last till all manna is depleted having a magic sword that gives 1082-1551 physical damage it would be alot of damage plus if you had a platnum mp charm it would last for 1800000 manna =)

    yes though given his a dd he wont need to be ha

    EDIT: even though seekers are the sword class they cant use magic SWORDS so the plan is ruined no matter what =(

    and with 54 strength you cant get a decent physical weapon =(

    Just go robe armor, no vit, and the rest into Str and Dex.

    You realize that Mag only affects the magic attack on any weapon right? Str affects the physical damage of any weapon (except daggers and bow/xbow/slingshot). So with 54 Str, you will deal **** for damage, even with a decent weapon.

    Besides, the skill can be kept up easily enough by just using herb yuanxiao, so after level 75 its not a problem anymore.

    i know thats why a lvl 100 magic sword would deal more physical damage than a 54 str claymore/sword thats the point about weilding a magic sword....... and i dont want it for the mag attack i want it for mp. point taken about the yuanxiao.

    You all know that you CAN'T DO SKILLS WITHOUT A SWORD? The description for most of the skills says "Blades, Swords" No friggin MAGIC SWORD no blipping nothing else. So you get 8k of mp and nothing to waste it in.

    This was already acknowledged by the poster earlier in the Thread. Any comments made after that was simply to discuss the thought process that lead him to his theoretical conclusion; -now- a hypothetical scenario more or less.

    Thank you for re-addressing this fact but it wasn’t necessary.



    Builds like these, the Arcane barb, the heavy armor Wizard, and the like, may not -always- be practical but are never the less fun to undertake and fun to watch as others play them out. It adds a spice to the game and in turn brings a unique flavor to our in-experience.

    To: YasuStar - Nicely thought out even though there were a few oversights. Would have been interesting to see played out none the less.
