To those complaining about "maintenance"

Check the board time at the bottom which is GMT -8(e.g. PST). The scheduled time for maintenance was set for 11pm PST to 1am PST. The problem with this is the fact that the board time was never set forward an hour which is why everyone thinks maintenance is late which it isn't. Maintenance started at 2am EST/11pm PST. According to the board time it started at 10pm PST/ 1am EST. This means that maintenance is still ON TIME and not yet finished. Please be patient the game will be up soon. Watch a movie or tv or get some sleep b:chuckle .

A clock not being set doesn't change the rules for DST taht congress set. >_> Someone vote out the GOP already so we can STOP HAVING DST, plox. 7 coins and 2 tuckahoes to whoever manages to get rid of DST forever, in the US.

Edit: And now the board time is set correctly, so it is, indeed, late. XD

Yeah board time is what the maintenance is going by. The time hasn't been adjusted for daylight savings time for some reason which is causing the mass confusion with everyone. Maybe this thread will shed some light for the trolls lol.

    ****EDIT*****
No sorry to tell you but GMT -8 means the time is supposed to be 1:46am which according to the board it is 12:46am which is completely wrong. Check google lol

Maint is usually 1-3am for me...it's 3:45, so it is indeed late like a 16yo. cheerleader.

To the original poster you are correct that servers went down at 11pm(pst)2am est but maintenance only lasts 2hrs and it is presently 445am est (145 am pst) so maintenance should already be over as it has been 2hrs 45 minutes. They probably ran into a unplanned extension which does sometime happen. But everyone should be patient as your not paying to play.

Thank you for the tip. b:surrender I fell into the trap, especially when the website says "All servers are Online."

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Maintenance started on time. It is now running almost 1 hour over. Servers have now been down almost 3 hours.

    http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=137

Shows current PST time(not the time the developers are going by)

Yes the maintenance is taking longer, but it's probably due to the fact the board says it's not 1am yet lol.

uh, when you POSTED this thread the forum board said 12:40. Considering the board is wrong, it was actually 1:40 am. Maintenance WAS over 30 minnutes late in ending already rofl.... not to mention the fact the GM's do't go by the freakign forum times, they do have clocks in the office... and they've also known for a long time these forums don't work well with DST (for some reason i forget) and tend to not change every time in the spring. Your post was right... but so wrong... ya the maint.s started at 10 pm (forum times lol), but if it had ended on time it would've ended at 12 (forum time)

To the OP: Maint was scheduled for 11PM *PDT* (Pacific *Daylight* Time) not PST (Pacific Standard Time). Pet peeve of mine, people getting that mixed up.
Someone vote out the GOP already so we can STOP HAVING DST, plox.

First national DST legislation (1918) was enacted by Democrat-controlled congress and signed by Democrat president. Abolished soon after.

Second national DST legislation (1942) was enacted by Democrat-controlled Congress, and signed by Democrat pres. Abolished soon after WW2.

Third national DST legislation (1966) was enacted by Democrat-controlled Congress, and signed by Democrat president. In place, essentially untouched (minor, one-year test of year-round DST), until...

Fourth national DST legislation (1986) extended DST by two weeks, enacted by mixed-control (Senate Rep and House Dem) and signed by a Republican Pres. In place, untouched, until...

Fifth national DST legislation (2005) extended DST by 4 weeks, was enacted (as part of a comprehensive energy policy act) by a Republican-controlled congress, and signed by a Republican President. However, interesting side note, John McCain voted against the bill in the Senate, and Barack Obama voted for it.

    So, yeah. Blame the GOP.
