Almost everything is OP so I just had to ask.
I heard their summons are stronger with the amount of m.atk mystic have. So +12 magic instrument = OP summon???

I, II and III spark is the most cheesiest skill in PWI and it should be removed or massively nerfed.

Well, everything with +12 weapon is OP. But, from my experience so far the mystic is not OP. I believe I was doing more damage with my wizard at the same level (even with the mystic pet). They use too much mana at once to be considered a threat. I'm hoping that changes later on.

i dueled a lvl 59 sin when i was lvl 50 and he sorta got beaten by 5 hits b:cute
bramble tornado then that vengeance skill thing x4
(plus i stacked healing herb and vital herb at start)
thus in the end i almost ran out of mp b:surrender
idk if this is OP though..../l、

No they are not OP. They are just right. They wont fully replace a class in the squad but that squad will love to have one in it. Pve is easy and pvp is decent (quite good if you attack first). The class is really fun.0 -
Considering we're talking about Yulk, the guy who thinks mobs are OP, yes Mystics are the most OP thing you will ever fight.

havent seen the 79-100 skills but i persenolly like the sage/demon forms of there atks.

mystics are not OP. they are actually a pretty balanced class. seekers to. but because classes like psychics and sins are so powerful the "balance" that mystics do have is turned into pure suckage.
lets put it this way, if sins and psys did not exist, mystics would be a perfect all around balanced class. but since they do exist they pretty much suck. i was thinking of getting my mystic to 100, but i stopped and realized that id be 100x better off getting my psychic to 100 instead.0 -

Ok, Psys are not that OP, I barely see them on my server and like all magic classes they are squishy.... the only OP class is Sins.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

For me mystics are OP... I have dueled against seekers, barbs, bms, clerics, wiz and I won... but psychics hit hard same as sins I hate them..... but is a class that can change its nature in battle from a offensive stance to a defensive stance when things get ugly b:cute0

I personally never lose a 1v1 to some one. unless the person super out gears me (usually not the case when i duel some one) i take about 1 hit if the opponent is lucky. The mystic is OP if played correctly considering our Absorb skill cant be damage negated (only tested on clerics but other forum threads have stated Barb also cant reduce it). But yeah so far i think there one of the better pvp classes b:victory0

By reduce it you mean they're Physical Defense? If that's the case... An 80Veno with AA armor took 4500 from my attack... 71Barb took 641... that's reduced.0 -

What I think she means is that Plume Shell (cleric) and Invoke (barb) don't effect the damage, which is correct.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

looking at the skills, summons, and plants... i think mystic could definitely have a use in pvp.
is it OP.. i dont think so. but any skilled player can make a class seem more powerful (and i'm not talking about +12 refines **** either lol... talking about skill)i'm pro all classes, and against none in particular..
but the age old QQ about venos is just that. OLD.

Well I dont know if u pvp but.... on HL I saw a lvl 100 bm falling against a lvl 90 mystic... How this happened I saw the mystic summoning salvation with the defense buff that makes the damage 1... with this the mystic sleep him and start casting nature vangeance and soul absorb then casted gale force the bm said WTF so yeah we can deal pretty good with pvp....0

1 v 1 self destructing salvation gets you such a big combat boost. if u dont like self destructing salvation, kill off one of the other 2. the stat boost is insane.0 -

I agree here. If I can do it I will sac my Salvation every time before I summon cragglord in pvp and sometimes even pve.

Mystics are pretty balanced but it also depends on how you play them. For example I once did a delta with a squad full of r9 +12 weapon people using their aoe's but my Cragg took aggro from everyone every single time.
Another thing I notcied is that with my Mistress in tw she hits HA people for over 10k, one time she even hit a barb for 18.2k. The only plant I really use in TW is my spidervine or my creeper. I find that spidervine is best to use on the OP +12 everything players, I really do notice the damage difference in their attacks once my plant is on them.
Another really cool feature that I find to Mystics is their Vital Herb healing plant. It's an aoe heal that stacks and can even mix with a clerics ih. I find that to be pretty hax and honestly mystics and clerics make an awesome team because their heals can be combined together. Even when/ if my vital herb dies it's stacking heals just keep going until I'm able to summon it agian. I find that to be very helpful, especially in a tw setting.TY for my shiney new R9 PWE b:chuckle

we are so versatile that we can be of use in more than one way.
In PVP, dunno coz i am never in PK mode.
But I sometimes like to duel.
The list of my friends I beated which are level 100+ is quite long b:laugh
only classes I seem to have a real problem with is sins and archers.
Thicket is extremely usefull in PVP
Absorb soul is extremely usefull.
Bramble Tornado is the ONLY knockback skill that works in PVP.
As for OP :
at lower levels I didnt think mystics are OP.
But starting at level 90+ i grew to realize mystics are SO versatile that I can join any squad.
I regularly squad in Delta (craggy is so yummy)
I regularly farm with my 100+ friends in TT 3-2 and i manage to survive b:laugh
Lunar is tough but doable
So in terms of PURE damage I wouldnt say we are OP.
But in terms of what a class can do in PVP and PVE, maybe just a bit OP0 -
