Casters in PWI

Are we useless? I can even get a squad to farm my nirvana gear.
I suggest you make somekind of solo mode Nirvy for casters where the bosses are all mag, so that we can get our gear.

oh and if you are a new player reading this, I suggest you DO NOT make a magic class toon, they are useless and you wont be able to farm what you need, might aswell remove mag toons from the game.

MAG Classes are DEAD, not the game, you got 5 aps, you can do anything.

    There are PLENTY of squads that run with casters and all classes. not every party consists of all 5.0's b:surrender

    I, II and III spark is the most cheesiest skill in PWI and it should be removed or massively nerfed.

    Fuzzy is in agreement with Rose on this one. The panda sees many magic class players on his server with Nirvana gear.

    It is simply a matter of having a good faction and a good friends list and using every avenue available to the best of your ability.

    No question Nirvana is faster with an APS squad, but what can be done is 5min by them can still be done in 30min by a non aps squad. And when you think about it, 30min to run an instance isn't bad when compared to what it has taken some in the past to collect their mats from 3-3 etc.

    I've been on countless runs with casters, I've been on many where I'm the only 5.0 DD in the squad, with the rest of the squad consisting of a cleric, veno, a couple of low aps DDs, and a mage or psychic or w/e.


    This is with my guild ofc, if a psychic/mage that isn't in my guild asks to go to nirvana with me I'd probably tell them to GTFO

    make some non-aps 10x friends, and/or form your own squad.

    there are people out there running nirvana without high-aps requirements; some of the 10x folks in my guild do it. they seem to be having great fun, and claim it isn't really that much slower than an aps run anyway. find yourself a good team, or build one if you can't find one. common as this complaint is, you'd think folks would respond to a worldchat of "forming nirv squad, <=2aps only, casters welcome".

    The only caster that can regularly get in nirvana runs are clerics (like redroses) and venos because they have amplify. However no one will take 2 clerics or 2 venos in the same squad.

    Your only choice really is to make a 5.0 class. If u still love your original character then the 5.0 character could supply your magic caster.

    Another choice would be to become a merchant.

    I have done Nirvana's with 3 clerics b:chuckle

    If some squads are that picky, then just find another squad. Besides, some squads will not even take Clerics = lulz...but to each their own really.

    Why do something you're not great at when you can do something you are, and buy the mats? Despite all the QQ by fails; casters are very viable in this game. I abandoned my 6x sin for yet another caster. Exploit their strengths and you'll do fine.

    1. Buy a stack of teles.
    2. WC: "Nirvana squad looking for more members, needs 3.33+ aps DDs and a cleric."
    3. Pray for them to stay in your squad.
    4. Run that damn Nirvana.

    If you don't want to leech off, WC for a barb and cleric for Nirvana + "all kinds of DDs welcome". Then you just have to hope your barb and cleric aren't leaving when they see full caster squad.

    My friend once complained about the same thing and it is a valid complaint but he asked me why nobody wants him in their squads. I asked him what he WCs (as a wizard) and he said: "I always WC wizzy looking for a fast nirvana squad." It took me a while to tell him why that wouldn't work...

    Then why are they playing a social dynamic game? MMOs are specifically designed to require the player to be social. Very few have ever catered to the emo crowds.

    just like real life, u gota create a money making machine to get wat u want. i was not happy at first as an archer but now i got 4 aps farming chars to select from. if ur not happy bout the world, u have to change ur situation, and not try to pull evryone to ur circumstance
