I see more and more Nirvana Runs asking for Archers with High Aps, of 4 and 5. But can an archer really reach that far, fists alone?

    I'm not sure what you mean by "fists alone", so I'll just say that I have 4 aps with the following build:

    Gorenox Vanity
    Rank 8 chest
    TT99 LA Boots + Wrist
    TT99 HA Neck + Belt
    Demon Spark

    Without spark, I have 2.86 aps.

    I don't have my Winged Trophy: Lunar Glade yet. If I obtained that, or perhaps obtained Deicides instead, I'd have 5 aps sparked (3.33 aps unsparked).

    I currently have 5aps sparked with:
    -Gorenox Vanity
    -Wing Trophy: Lunar Glade
    -Love: Up and Down
    -Armor of the Demonhunter [Chest]
    -Lionheart Necklace & Belt

    Do you mean:
    Fists with no -int, unsparked? Impossible. [Edited: specifed unsparked.]
    or
    5aps unsparked with fists? Possible.

    Lady SummerBlush, how did you get your Striking Dragon fists for only 100m? The Heart of Nature alone costs 150m.

    If you get it as squad drop, they can't charge you more than 150m for it.

    That would be me.

    If I sold my Deicides and bought Frost claws, my best case melee would get cheaper but I would lose survivability in some other cases, because I would have to wear my lionheart ornaments. And if I kept my Deicides and bought Frost Claws I would be out millions that would pay back only after several years.

    But a bigger issue is that I have mostly given up on merchanting and am just coasting now. I might change my mind later, but for now I am just relaxing.

    sorry. forgot to specify that it would be unsparked.

    i'm hoping the OP chimes in soon so we can understand exactly what he is asking for. From what I see, he's not interested in Claws.

    Wraithgate Trophy is farmable. If you have an Alt between the levels of 60-80, you can Account Stash the cape if i recall correctly.

    I don't exactly remember the details, but I think it requires 2 to 4 level 60-80 to start the Trophy run in Wraithgate. Then you can invite your higher levels [usually 100+ with high dps] and have them leave before you turn in your completed time. Or something like that.

    Besides that, I don't think there's any other option for you to reach 3.33 any cheaper.

    Well, you need:
    1. A squad consisting of at least 4 people level 60-80, one of them the party leader.
    2. Squad leader pays 600,000 coins per run.

    Basically, you go to an NPC outside of Wraithgate. He will let you start Trophy Mode if you meet the two requirements specified.

    The Trophy Mode itself is like a speedrun of an unwined Wraithgate. Generally speaking, you have to finish in about 1,000 seconds. You need to kill the monsters and bosses to get points and the run ends when you kill the last boss. After you kill the boss, the leader has some time to talk to an NPC that spawns at the end. The NPC will award you according to your score.

    The absolute minimum that you need is six runs, assuming that you get a Gold Medal each time.

    Generally, it's done so that each of the level 60-80 people pay at least 150,000 coins each to cover the fee for opening Trophy Mode. Sometimes, you'll have to pay additional for the two high level DDs you'll want to bring along with you.

    Usually, the squad would look like this:
    1. Level 80 Barbarian with extremely good gear for big pulls
    2. Level 80 Cleric for healing
    3. 2x Level 100 high APS DDs to make sure the bosses die quickly. Preferably 1 sin, 1 BM.
    4. 2x Level 80 DDs.

    Everyone in the squad should have maxed AoE skills and level 80 gear.

    Here is an example of a successful Trophy Mode run by a friend of mine.

    i payed about 150m for them, buying 30 tokens of best luck for 5m ea or just a bit under on some. I pretty much sold my veno for them tho =<

    Vanitys are deffenatly the best weapon to get over decides imo, id still be using them if i didnt have tt100's. the added str/dmg addon and hp recovery buff are very nice and handy as archers dont get BP. One thing to remember is if your going for high aps you need to build to be able to take hits too; or learn some restraint to ditch agro to the tanker if you get it

    I use tt90 gold zerk fists on occassion at 5aps (no int) sparked...3.33/4 non-sparked depending on gear.

    Here's what gear I use when I do it

    tt99 ha belt/neck
    r9 pants/sleeves/boots
    r8 chest
    lunar cape
    love up and down tome

    I can go from 3.33 with listed gear to 4.0 with tt99 sleeves and boots.

    tt90 zerk fists are better than deicides and gv damage wise. though it will cost you a lot in charm ticks if you are soloing.

    there's also the nirvana fists that are better than GV/Deicides

    I'm 5APS with zerk fists. I don't die with them on. I have 11k or so hp unbuffed. I can solo squad mode in TT3-1 except the GBA with them on. I tend to use my GVs over them though. No sense in wasting charms like that.

    And I don't really know what you're laughing about. 2nd Cast Nirvana fists refined are the best fists in the game for archers. Ask Ben or Remvrandt... the two most knowledgable people when it comes to aps and damage on RT.
