    try near dark tower in the human low lvl zone. large population, no additional monsters that agro.

    @Alasen - I understand you can be angry, but at least give some constructive criticism, or advices... Unless you really want people to leave and then you'll be playing this game alone...

    Even though there are higher mobs around you gotta have fun and i know you think there is no logic in it but that is the way it is now on P.W. so try and have fun. also don't listen to the guy that says do it all the easy way with Squads because you won't make any coins in the game doing Squads all the time.

    Angry? Where the hel did i "look" angry?? rofl In case you can't read between llines that was me laughing my *** off at this thread. I've seen some whining on these forums but damn....b:shocked

    And quite frankly.... there's enough people playing this, i could care less if someone that cant' handle THIS leaves.... but ya... i just said dont' come to HT lol

    Your logic != universal logic.

    If my aim (as a dev) is to make things a little difficult/challenging for the quester....my logic states to put unwanted higher lvl mobs nearby which might gank the quester.

    OR

    go ask you to kill something 5 lvls above you

    OR

    ask you to kill a mob which has 2.5 mil hp.


    If youre looking for something straight-forward when it comes to gaming, PW isnt the game you should be playing.

    For someone claiming to be so old and mature, that was very much uncalled for. Even if you disagree with Alasen lashing out won't make people take you more seriously.

    Helpful tips-

    Use a zeal
    Go by hidden/dark tower/etherblade to do the quest
    Squad

    There's always going to be a few quests that are harder than the rest in a game. I died at least seven times on my bm during that quest (pre genies so I couldn't really lure). Best bet is to squad up and go to another location.

    Did you seriously think this would be "fun"? This is not the first area this has happened, either. Not going to make me run to the cash shop. 30 years of playing and never seen this kind of noobism from devs.

    Actually with quests like these are not that hard (only for unaware people), I only died from them maybe like once or twice out of doing those quests when I accidentally pulled everything when they flew away XD. But after that, yeah, I can tell their patterns. Fun times yeah.

    Obviously the subject of this thread have it right, where is the logic of the p-word?? I do not mean p-server either.


    Edit: LOL @ people say (use a zeal genie) you wimps can't even quest without using at least 200 stamina per mob/boss b:laugh
    I, II and III spark is the most cheesiest skill in PWI and it should be removed or massively nerfed.

    OP: My main is a squishy melee class, with limited ranged options and low HP at that level....and I STILL had no problems competing that quest solo. You are a ranged class with a PET. It is not the game design that is a problem, it is you. The quest isn't that hard, it just requires three dimensional thinking. Honestly. It's actually pretty realistic, since if you were fighting in the air (or water) in real life things could attack from multiple directions in that manner. At higher levels you have to fight other flying mobs, which generally are all around your level......which doesn't actually make the quests any easier. Mobs your level ganging up on you has the same effect as mobs higher than you ganging up on you.

    If you want frustrating, go find a copy of an MS-DOS game from the early '90s called "Rogue." Play that for a few days straight THEN tell me if this is frustrating or hard (if you win it, I want a screenshot) b:chuckle

    FYI, I have spent no money in this game, so don't QQ about CS items at me, and I am old enough for your argument there to be invalid...on top of which your comments read like they were written by an angry twelve year old.

    At the OP: You just need to learn to be a little more aware of your surroundings and position yourself and your target where you won't be in danger. Try attacking a mob with your summon and then resummoning it. The mob should come to you, keeping you away from the mobs with aggro. Or like others mentioned, you can try using a Zeal genie's Earthflame skill.

    You are right. That was out of line for me. I'm usually not like that but at the time I was so fed up with flippant one-word responses and assinine comments...bad enough dealing with problems in game..what's worse is the juveniles who always come out to make some unproductive comment. Plus I was barely sitting in my chair at the time thanks to Tequila Sunrises(it's true but had to add that for that extra 1% "not my fault").

    Anyway, thanks for the tips and others here who gave advice. I'll try to work on patience for kids but I think I'm too old for that at this point. b:laugh though I'll still be in game(sorry Oxytorch..being tortured by gaming is in the blood..but I won't give those corporate amoral bloodhounds a dime of my money).

    to OP: You have seen nothing of the madness yet. The pyrogolths at 5x (The ones at King's Feast... Near that Rattus, Sewer Rat Lord, as I like to call him) and the Triocs around Tusk Town, and then the air and water battles... What I hate the most is that mobs have fun using and spamming magic on my BM, but hey!

    So much more to live, so much more to endure. I went solo for them all and survived... Being powerleveled would kill the old-school challenge... Which you seem to rebuke (and which is annihilated by 'shortcuts' some people use). I guess you would not have liked the old-school PWI because it was entirely like that, no silly extras to get to lv 100 in a few days.

    Oh, since I am here to reply to your main question/grief above all things, I will indeed agree on the fact that going for pterosaurs around Heaven's Tear is tantamount to suicide. You should beat them at Hidden Orchid, or even better (?) around the giant sword at Etherblade.

    You keep saying "you're too old for this" "work on patience for kids" but I seriously don't see any matureness in your words... Just the other way around.

    It might be this game is not done for you if you find annoying that some mobs aggro you, there are lots of things to QQ about that are broken in this game way more important than your issues, ijs.

    Stop dissing on people, learn to play and grow up, cause you kinda missed it in your early years... Or you must be a real troll that is messing with us, cause is starting to look ridiculous.
