Questions about hercules

After some time merchanting i finally have the money to buy the herc for my veno, the questions now are:

Is it worth?

Best way to make it a money source? (TT or grinding. If TT, which one. If grinding,where)

Skills to add and skills to remove? (please any veno from LC server can post the price of these skills?)

    Yes, the Herc is worth it.
    As far as skills go, some folks replace pounce with bash to help generate aggro. I opted to keep pounce, as it's useful for catching runners. The three buff skills should not be replaced.

    Well, imo herc is definately worth it if you plan on sticking with your veno... otherwise you could use that ~100m getting better gear.
    I replaced Pounce with Bash as it's good for getting agro, though some like to keep Pounce. If there were 5 skill slots I'd have kept it, of course b:chuckle And as Nehru said, buffs really shouldn't be replaced :)

    I grind with my herc on the ~7x leoparadite green mobs near Dreamweaver... easy-ish for herc to round them up then AoE like crazy ^^

    For TTs, well I obviously can't do TT3-xs (maybe I can.. o_O never tried, but I assume I'd need to be at least 9x) If I'm bored I'll occasionally solo a TT2-1 or 2-2, but most of the time there only get about 1-2 mat drops if lucky. I prolly could do 2-3 when my herc is my level (he's only level 64...and still he can tank 2-x and I dont have to spamheal him, one heal then 2-3 attacks b:chuckle)

    So yea, hercs worth it ^^

    Herc can't tank the TT3-x bosses since they has been changed time ago, this bosses has purge, reduce hp buff, seal, and many more buffs, debuffs and the great add of random agro making impossible a herc tank they even if you kill the requirement mobs for each one.

    So if you are not planning to play your veno regularly don't waste your coins in it.

    At lv90-100 if you are squaded with aps bm/archers/sin they will not let you tank with your herc and will steal agro all the time, also your magical attack can easy steal agro from herc.

    An 81 hercules can tank the TT 3-1 medium mode bosses (haven't been in a high mode 3-1 yet, nor any higher 3-x.) And that's with the gimped heals of an HA/AA veno.

    At TT 3-1 high mode you can't tank Dark Colluseats is the bossy who drops the Giant Beast Armor for the tt90 chest ( that's why the are around 1m each piece ) and Giant Beast Shell. This bossy needs to be tanked by a barb with 2 clerics on support. Herc can tank other TT 3-1 bosses as far as I know.

    If ur veno is in LC , i would take a phoenix instead and skill him with either Flesh ream or Howl.

    However u can choose the herc and solo TTs for merchanting mats , thus gaining money for nix or better gear. It definetely worths it since u got the cash already and have the ability to make more.
