Okay, so I just heard about this from another player. They said that they camp popular spots and just keep killing the same small group of people over and over, saying if they rez they will just kill them again and its their fault for rezzing. Is this a common practice on pve servers? b:shocked Also, are the drops better when you do b:mischievous

    Unless people choose to go to pvp mode they can't kill anyone on a PVE server.

    What Tig said, but the way that sounded, it sounds like major harassment from a real a$$hat like haden said. and harassment's bannable..... ijs...

    It is called res-killing. I suppose it is kinda popular among certain players , for both grieving and better drop rate.

    What's really funny is when people on a PvE server turn on PK mode before they are of a decent level and then complain when they get killed. I can understand ganking like that on a PvP server being a problem, but on a PvE server, the kids getting creamed practically deserve it.

    Some?

    Very few if any players on a PvE sever with blood red names got that from killing anyone their level.

    i hate the term harrassment..sure if you follow someone around and kill them..i guess, but if they come to where u are..thats jut bein dumb..they can always go somewhere else

    Repeated harassment that prevents a person from completing a quest or advancing in the game is bannable yes.

    What if you stay in the same area? Can't they just go to town? Like he said outside the temple, the flower sounding temple? By the 29 boss. He kept killing over and over and over but if they went to town and didn't come near him he left them alone. So they can do quest. is it still banable? b:thanksb:thanksb:thanks

    Purposely seeking out the same person/ people and killing them repeated is what defines harassment and grieving. You said he warned them that if they revived, he would kill them again? Yet they revived only to be slain again? They went to town and left them alone?

    Sounds like they deserved the kill then. Nor does it sound like harassment. He gave them fair warning.

    You guys need to review your concept of harrassment...

    Im on RT, a pve server, if ppl choose to pk...their problem...i never pk or forbidden places or prevent them to do their quests.

    Rez/kill is not fking baneable, been lazy is as banable ofense. Ppl need to learn to realease and go back to city.b:bye

    SS your' right.... BUT if he was campign a spot u HAVE to go to (to turn in a quest?).. and this person being killed was say.... a cleric trying to turn in their quests (so they'd have rez up every time they went back to TRY to get to the npc) yet the guy kept killing them when they came back and saying" u get up i'm going to kill you (over and over and over and over)"....... THAT IS griefing. I'm sorry but if you think it isn't, you need to grow up. There's a difference between PK'ing and being a total piece of shet lol (and the reason i NEVER play PvP servers on anything anymore is there's usuallly more of the latter type of person).....

    (at this point i went back and read the OP lol) The OP didnt' quite elaborate on WHERE this "popular spot" was........ so kinda hard to tell what the deal is. ALSO..... um on a PvE server? no comment.....

    I, II and III spark is the most cheesiest skill in PWI and it should be removed or massively nerfed.

    Okay I will give fair warning then if I can Pk someday. rIGHT NOW SEEM SO IMPOSSIBLE. Too many class to pick from. b:chuckle If they turn in quest near that flower temple I will to let them and then kill them after they turn in b:chuckleb:thanks

    I say its bannable to kill someone over and over again for no reason....I understand that u can PK..but still...everything has a limit...and of course they will never try to kill someone big...they kill only the little ones who are trying to work their lvl...thats why they proof how ***** they are...thinking they're big and important...

    it may be bannable, but there isnt a gm who will do anything about it. when i first started, it was on LostCity, because i didnt know about PvP/PvE at all, and just started on it. we were all new to this game, and didnt know about it. by the time i hit my 30s, i was questing in the Flag Hill/Secret Passage area, and by that point, RageQuit was in full swing, with KOSs on venos and clerics in particular. so i had no chance to anything without getting nailed by one of them, since they camped out there and other lowbie areas.

    i wrote tickets, begged for help on the GM button (which, at that time, was supposed to have a live GM ingame, ready to help, not this *****system we have now), but no one helped. i would go back to the city over and over, losing exp constantly. finally, after several days, i got an answer on the ticket, and they told me to screencap the whole deal, especially the ones doing it, so they could be banned for harassment, and send them in. so when i next got ganged, the GM on duty at the time it happened could come and catch them in the act. at that time, i was told the punishment would be several days ban for the gankers .....guess what? nothing happened. same idiots from RQ still polluted the world chat, and still were part of gangks. even after a number of tickets about this, when i was still told to take the same steps, nothing was done. i got sick of the target on my back, gave away my brand new panther and swan mount, pulled up stakes and moved to HeavensTear.

    there used to be a pie chart that was part of the TOS, that showed the punishments for various infringements of the TOS, but that has been gone now for years.

    i'll likely get banned for saying all this, but its the truth, and sometimes it has to be told, to help othersi

    camping out places to kill player for no reason is considered harassment. with all the new stuff on this site, i cant find the TOS, or i would post a link to it, to inform you of what constitutes PK, harassment and ganking.

    LoL I also got pew pewed in LC like that. Know what i did? Lvled and pked then with guildies. I then started doing the same until GM's yelled that PK in SP in Pvp sever has a bannable offense. After that the carebears came and now everywhere near a mob is non-pk zone to everyone. Pff u carebears ruined the game.

    P.S. SP pk has fun back then (atleast 4 me) cause no nix aka no bleed bug.

    let me make a slight correction- i meant the area outside the SP, where there are various skeleranks and herbs, not inside.

    and since i left LC 2 months after coming, i could hardly be blamed for what other players do. if murder is your turnon,, go right ahead. i am in a place were people like to play the game, explore, do the quests and see where they lead us, and what goodies we might be rewarded with.

    .... not see dead bodies strewn around them. to many of us, that is not fun.

    Pff best part of this game 1 year+ ago has camp vol 16, vol 29, path to vol 30, oracle spots, orchid.
