You can't transfer Zen from one server to another, once its been sent to a specific server, it remains there.

Y'know, I don't buy zen, but on behalf of those who do... for Cash Shop use ONLY... I'd really suggest changing this. People pay real money for zen, then what if it doesn't work out for them on the server they are on (because of harassment, or whatever), they need their zen (their unused investment) to follow them to a new server. PWE already has the payment, what would it hurt?
There's no such thing as a "Perfect World" full of Jade, diamonds, gold, and other riches and treasures. There is only an imperfect world, with an imperfect society, full of imperfect people, with imperfect idea's about how to be perfectly rich and perfectly perfect. No one cares about being perfectly kind, perfectly fair, or perfectly content.
    It's a perfectly sad world.

You have to consciously transfer the zen to a server *and* confirm your decision, so I don't feel sorry for people that "accidentally" transfer to the wrong server (not the case here, I know, but have seen that used as a reason). It's also not necessary to transfer all of your zen at the time you buy it. If you buy more than you need for a specific purpose (because of zen sale, or using a prepaid card, or whatever) you can just let it sit in your account untransferred until you do need it.

That having been said, I have heard of GMs granting a transfer of gold from one server to another (within the same account) *if* you bought the gold online (as zen) rather than through the AH. I would guess it would depend on the circumstances.

I didn't say people who accidentally transferred their zen to a wrong server... I said what if things didn't work out for them on the server they are on and they need to change servers. Transferring the zen, in the form of gold, would be the same thing. Just so long as their unused, and Paid with Real Money, gold follows them.
