Genie Skill Tabs Totally Bugged

after expension, whenver i click genie skills nothing happens. after like 10 times i works... this happens everyday on all my chars. its so bloody anoying. it screws evrything up. NEVER had this prob b4 expension.

    It's not just the genie skills either. If you try to mouse click hot-keyed class skills, it sometimes takes several clicks before they take effect. I've even noticed that certain hot-keyed skills still won't take effect even if you use the actual keyboard to use it the first time around.

    The chi skill on my sin requires several button mashes to get it to take effect, as does Flesh Ream/Bestial Rage on my barb. -.-

    i have same problem with genie but then i put genie skill to skill menu f1, f2, f3 keys and it work fine for me

    Just click the bottom half of the skill and it works. The top half of the square isn't registering clicks.

    can a gm comment about this terrible issue. its totally unacceptable. the most basic of problems. brb going to buy new keyboard, i smash the hell outa my buttons because of this piece of ****. -joking-

    A temporary solution is to unequip and reequip your genie.

    Just remember you gotta be out of combat to unequip genie.

    Annoying, yes, but still a temporary fix.

    Or do what AquaDagger suggested. o.o

    so far ive been using SHIFT+ f1-f4 lol, skill 5-8 on genie can go die, my fingers cnt reach SHIFT + f5-f8

    umm just so you know if you click on the bottom of a genie skill it works all the time.

    like some others posted, avoid clicking the top of the skill, something with the expansion made it so the top half of the button wont register the clicks.

    TB expansion introduces rubberbanding and genesis introduces bugged genie skill tabs. Gotta love how even something that's supposed to be good messes brings forth something bad in PWI. b:chuckle

    FYI - If you want to see exactly what part works and what part doesn't, just hold your mouse over the skill and slowly move down until the skill description tooltip pops up. Anything at that point or lower should work if you click on it.

    And here I was thinking my mouse was messing up. I have died several times while clicking furiously on a genie skill only to have nothing happen.

    I don't mind dieing in game because I bit off more than I could chew or because another player bested me in PvP, but to die because the developers screwed something up yet again is unacceptable.

    Please quit adding more buggy content to the game until you fix the ever growing list of problems that already exist.
    What's the point of having a rapier wit if I can't use it to stab people? b:sin

    Of course you want it fixed. I'm sure they do too, but the GMs can't fix it, the devs in China have to fix it.

    Hopefully it will be among the fixes in tonight's patch, or at the very least, next week's patch.

    Nothing is ever perfect, not even Perfect World, so we just have to adapt as best we can and keep prodding the ones that can to make it better. That goes for everything.
