i'm trying to get an idea of how much potential salvation emerges has to make mystics viable as a main healer because, sadly, i think people are going to end up expecting it for lower level bh's.

looking at the description of her skills, it seems that they'll improve as i level the summon skill. for aegis sphere, mp cost, dmg absorbed, % p.def and m.def, and duration of time will increase. for martyrdom, initial casting cost, % of dmg absorbed, and duration of time will increase.

does anyone have any numbers for different skill levels of salvation or what they are at her max level? i looked in the early guides in the forums but didn't find anything specific. any info would be appreciated b:victory

I would very much like to know as well.
I see some potential in it (despite it's super low damage output). It would come in very handy for tanks in low level BHs (or even higher level ones).

I've been experimenting that with my Seeker soulmate but since it's level one there wasn't much of a different. I will post anything I discover through my experiments.

Even with Salvation maxed, I don't think Mystics will be able to effectively replace a cleric in any instance as the main healer except in instances that they're outleveled (9x squad going into TT1-x for example). Our main heal is about as powerful as a cleric's Wellspring, and costs much more MP. And unless you have a lot of MP food/apoth, you're going to be running out of MP much faster than you can recover it.

I main a 97 Psy named /\bra. The forums don't like his name.
So I post on my Barb.

Salvation is my favorite summon so far; it's saved many lives. As long as the damage doesn't surpass 2000k (or 1k in my case, the lvl is still low) the shield won't bust-- and it basically grants invincibility for a short period (does it get longer than 45 sec. can someone confirm?). In the case of being the main healer in a party, the shield would allow Myst to use less mana. And Falling Petals and Break in the Clouds are a good combo. It's recommended to use Petals first before Clouds because it's like a mild ironheart and spamming Clouds wouldn't be needed.

I think it would take a skillful person to play main healer in a party, because there is that challenge of trying to keep the tank alive without using too much mana, watching out for the squad (and for the very talented) being able to DD at the same time.
