Vicious Arrow or Frost Arrow?

Hi. I have lvl 3 Frost Arrow and lvl 1 Vicious Arrow. Which one is better for opening?
And my second question:
Whats the Winged Shell? What absorbing HP means? If mob hit me it converts hp into mp or what?

    Frost.

    Winged shell takes (absorbs) some of the damage the target deals on you, meaning you take alot less damage

    The mana regen you get from winged shelll means that if you let it get popped you have a mana cost where if you keep it alive for 20 seconds you regen some extra mana.

    Now i have lvl 3 Frost and lvl 3 Vicious. Frost still better?

    Frost is always better to open with. Don't bother leveling vicious arrow, it's pretty much a pointless skill. I only use it to nerf dmg.

    But if i fight with ranged mob, speed reduction is quite useless.
    Now i have Frost lvl5 and Vicious lvl 3. Im not gonna lvl up vicious anymore, but what about Frost? Lvl 5 is enough?

    Max frost and takeaim. Open with one of those depending on mob.

    What about Take Aim? I have it on lvl 1 but when i should use it? I often lose all Chi (and Spark) for Winged Shell and Frost Arrow.

    Take aim to open and frost to follow. TA gains 10 chi as well.

    Aim low is a personal favourite of mine , i use it on increased DEF or LIFE mobs , and usualy kill them fast enough before they even start moving.

    Lvling immediately isnt adviced , but pacely lvling is good . the more u lvl , the more dmg it does and more time it keeps the mob frozen.

    Aim Low cost 1 spark, let not talk about spark skill. It is good to max since it paralzye target for long time. I normally use deadly shot for opening then use stunning arrow, frost, knockback and keep on shooting with normal attack. Don't bother using DoT skill unless you are fighting earth mob. Deadly shot for opening at low lvl, at higher lvl you will use Take Aim more.

    Personal experience.


    Frost is a good opener for meele mobs (frost ->normal ->normal ->knockback --> normal ->normal. if still not dead wingpledge or wingspan)


    Take Aim is good for range mobs (Take Aim -> normal ->normal ->knockback --> normal ->normal to finish it).

    im pure dex archer. 4 dex 1 str / level.

    frost is lvl 6

    take aim is lvl 10, cause i use it a lot on FB and BH.

    Deadly shot worth lot of spirit and money and as result - useless for 100+ with refined wep because AIM will be better. So it's good only if you wanna PVP a lot on low lvls (70-95? :) It's not bad vs mobs, but, again, worth a lot, so better level more useful skills like BOA.

    You are not exactly wrong, but...

    Ok, first off, "worth" means you are talking about value, and not cost. And deadly shot does have some value, even when aim low hits harder. Actually, it has two useful attributes.

    First, its on a different cooldown from take aim.

    Second, it has channelling time based on the skill and not the player.

    Now, granted, neither of these are useful very often, for high level characters. So I would say that the worth of this skill is somewhat marginal. And, especially when you consider its high mana cost its mostly only useful for PvP (though if we had other contexts with high damage low health targets with aggressive but laggy decision making processes it could be useful there also).

    Sorry, i'm not good in english :)
    Well, I mean that you will spend lot of money and spirit (~ 2mil spirit and 3mil coins) for skill which you can easy replace by other skill and which have no use. And Take Aim is very very cheap (~100k spirit and 150k coins). Deadly usefull on low levels (80-95), but spirit can be trouble (as I remember, spirit is always trouble till 100+).
