That's because you're a barb. This should be true with clerics as well, and it's because running instances require these two classes to use their skills effectively. Now tell me, can a hyper BM or hyper sin learn how to stun lock? Would a hyper wiz know how to combo its spells effectively?

I still cant stun lock -.-
use drake bash, damage gets delt, no buffs on target to prevent stun, they dont end up stunned at all, also overlapping stun seems to not reset stun but instead negated the additive stun...or I'm crazy.0 -
Stunning a stunned target does not extend the stun time yeah. You're supposed to count down after you stun, and take into account channel time of your skills in order to make sure the subsequent stuns land as soon as the previous stun is over.Elena Costel: I wash my hands of this affair.

meh, stun lock, don't stun lock, doesnt matter to me. even stun locking I cant kill anyone -.-0 -
you can't macro in weapons in a combo itself... probably why every FF i've been in BM's dont' switch weapons lol. they only use fists on the bosses and stick to dual axes on the mob groups.0

well I mean like g15 macro, very easily done since you can hotbar weapons. If you mean in game macros, I cant even run those at all, they simply do not work for me. The second skill in the macro...doesnt go off rofl. Have heard it might be lag truthfully don't know.0

they are fail bms then esp on bosses if they dont switch to axes at least to do dragons then back to fist
i think they were talking about pvp tho and i rarely ever see bm use dbb except on mages or ep0 -

I honestly learned out how to play my BM in about one hour. And I can honestly say I can effectively play him better than a lot of other BMs on our server.
I spent one hour at some mobs practicing things like chain stunning, switching weapons, marrows, etc. It took me one hour.you can't macro in weapons in a combo itself... probably why every FF i've been in BM's dont' switch weapons lol. they only use fists on the bosses and stick to dual axes on the mob groups.

I'm not gonna pull out my axes on a boss unless if we have other high aps DDs and then I'm just going to HF.

It's indeed an "exploit". But here's my view on this.
The fact the devs first came up with hyper stones, and then not too long after they made them acquirable with tokens. They must have seen that getting abused in FF.
And as they got really cheap and affordable, people learning how to better exploit that,
Was but a matter of time, and not far fetched either.
So I am starting to believe, the developers do want people to rush their new found characters to end game, and if they're willing to do that, then for sure they will spend on their end game gear a penny or two.
Either because, they're sensing the game is dying and trying to milk it til it's perfectly dry.
Or they intend to raise the lvl cap soon enough, that they want a great deal of players willing to venture further into the new lvls, and naturally spend more on the game.
But regardless of either possibilities, they damn near laid the foundation for this.
I do not expect anything at all done about it, except for a mass hyper stone sale if anything.0 -
It's really very simple, just don't squad with any high lvl earthgaurd for about 2 months so even the noobs who power lvl can learn how to play their class (at least enough so they don't cause squad wipe)0

Name 1 instance where a BM/Sin needs to know how to stun lock perfectly?
Its only for endgame PvP you need to have a higher form of timing and skill knowledge in this game. No one would even notice that a BM cant stun lock for shiet in like Nirvana or any BH100. They only need to Roar of the pride, HF on groups and switch to fists on single target and everyone is happy and thinks they're pro.
When you just Hyper Frost an alt, learning basics in 1 day is often enough for 95% of pve, sadly lol. A Lot of classes have very similar skills as well (amp, free movement, stun), which makes it even more easy. Its like 10-15 skills you need to figure out when running instances, you already partied with enough classes to see how its done. Just need to find the right icons b:chuckle.
But i do agree that questing makes you better at the specific class you're leveling, since it puts you in different environments, less repetitive, other type of mobs than in Frost (ranged, sac assault, glitched onces).0 -

After 100, it's pretty much using the 100+ gear and equips that you bought, pvp'ng, TW, endgame instances, and endless hours of catshopping, not to mention spamming wc with the numerous teles, that seem too cheap when you have the money.
So all and all, there ain't much after 100, but the sooner you get there, the sooner you have less to do.0 -
Oh, and just to correct myself from a previous post in this thread:
Apparently you can enter TT/HH with a char. under lv60 (just tested myself). However, this appears to somehow be a 'glitch', because I have seen physical evidence that it is supposed to requisite your char. being lv60+ to be able to enter...
Would also explain why there's no 'limit' on FF/FCC/FC (or any other 'dungeon') if this level requisite system is 'glitched' =\0 -

in over 2 yrs thats how its been for hh... the lvl 60 thing has always been only for the person opening it, and is more a guide letting u know the lvl of monsters that are around than strict lvl cap

in 2009 i used to do fcc runs with ppl and we used to bring a lvl 1
but it was for different reason than ppl do today... it wasnt to power lvl it was to give the squad more xp... the lower the squads average level is, the more monster xp/sp they get... esp the ppl with the highest lvl in the squad since higher lvl always get more xp
so for anyone else who doesnt know... fcc has a hard squad cap of 75, with at least one required of 85+ to open
any person in squad under lvl 75 means it cannot be opened, it will fail the door quest.. and if nobody in the squad is 85 or higher than the npc will simply not have yellow shield over the door npc head to give the door quest at all0 -

With the release of the Earthguards today, it's all too "cheap" how people solo frost and get their level one alts in there to power level. I think Frost should be made something like HH so that all people in squad have to be a certain level range and have it be made so that anyone under the minimum level req. can not get in at all. It's just a gong show that in less than six hours, there are already Seekers and Mystics above level 60 and even some claim to be 100. Some people put hard work and even money into playing this game and it's unjust to be overpowered by cheaters. The GM's in this game also put lots of money and hard work into every detail of the Earthguards yet their efforts have gone to waste when people go from 1-60 in a mater of a couple hours without learning anything. I only posted this in hopes that the GM's will fix the way Frost works and make the game fair to everyone. Anyone who doesn't agree, i'm sorry but get a life.

oh yeah...It's called Two person squad. First person is 10x to solo the place, other is an alt of theirs who is 75+ to help open the gate. The lvl 75 is then kicked and the newb is brought in.

Its bannable in the Chinese Servers, and they play the game the way it was originally intended. So it is an exploit, an exploit the gms on pwi don't care to fix because they don't have all the options that CN servers do to make coin nor the player base. That doesn't mean its not an exploit. It is an exploit, its just one that won't get you into any trouble do PWI being unable to stop it.0
