here are some of the few things that annoy me when playing my cleric lvl (71)

1) It's not my bloody job to come running after you the whole time.

i specifically remember an fb 59 run (my bh 59, but somones fb) with 2 sins and 2 bms and me. (3 of them were lvl 100 the other was the tabber)

all of them were spamming both their two speeds boosts AND holy path. then complained about me not keeping up and healing them.

First of which as a sqaud your suposed to stay together. i have holy path to get to players or run away in emergencies not to use it just to stay with the group.

2nd Your 3 lvl 100's WTF do u even needs heals in this place for...

3rd. You guys are yousing both your speed boosts and holy path. Even if i DID spam holy path the whole time i STILL wouldn't be able to keep up becuase you have speed boosts.

that being said i which my cleric did run faster... i normally either fly & (7.00)or use my (11.00mount) .. both of which are disabled in instances.

2) i dont have infinte mana and i cant hold up BB indefinitely. im not 75 yet i dont have Herb Yuanxiao. (ok well i do, but i cant use the damn things till 75...)

3) its my job to keep you alive. not to save ur bloody hp charm. And if you DO have an HP charm TELL me about it so i can at least TRY to save it. I cant view if u have a charm on or not.

4) i have to priroties as a cleric.
1. keep MYSELF alive
2. keep the sqaud alive

i can res you, not myself.

(although once mystics come out they can cast self res buff on the cleric meaning even with a full squad wipe i can res)

My biggest pet peeve, as a tank, as a DDer, and as a cleric, is ranged players who aoe before the barb even has aggro. Usually before the barb even has reached the mobs. Sometimes the barb has reached the mobs, FR'd once, and the casters drop bombs to pull aggro.

Have people lost the concept of assist attack? Do they not understand dph when they themselves are caster classes built around dph?

It doesn't bother me as much with melee, who are designed to have mobs pound away a little bit on them. When a barb gathers 10+ mobs and needs stacking, it's not the time for a psy, wizard, or veno to pull off 1 or 2 and get into a melee battle with them because then the caster will need stacking also. Can't do both, and I'm not gonna let the barb die because he's doing his job. I'm going to try to hit the caster with a WS and and IH, if they haven't killed the mob or can't survive with that, then I'm gonna be pissed about the time we lost rezzing and rebuffing their dumb butt because they can't damage modify.

But yes, I do wish clerics had a speed skill. And yeah, I do holy path to keep up with everyone cause that's just how it works, clerics got screwed over and didn't get a speed skill. Therefore I keep full genie stamina so I can holy path everywhere, lol.

so by your own definition you know is little about demon clerics as i do about sage becuase you "have read but not touched them"

you CANT bloody test the skills before you use them.

Im a demon barb ive have tank over 50 instances with different sage and demon cleric buffs and heals on me, the sqaud, and i have talked to both sage and demon clerics myself about specific skills. i know what it's like every skill of EVERY class. ive soloed fb 59 ALONE at lvl 70 on my cleric all bosses included. i have all buffs heals and attacks (except thunderball) maxed.

according to your core connect you play 1 class. cleric. and u went sage. meaning you have no idea other than "descriptions" about demon cleric and are preaching on the forums about something you know nothing about.

Are you really so god damn thick. to think you actully know what the TANK the MAIN person being heal is going to want from a cleric.

my cleric is going demon becuase demon cleric benifits ME and the ENTIRE sqaud much more than that of a sage cleric.

and if you want to talk about more stupid ways to measure how to go why to go demon vs sage. you can try taking into account the skills people can afford. the gear of the tank. gear of the cleric, what class is tanking. what instance, how much lag....

EVERY bloody one of those things is ganna make more difference than choose sage or demon

obviously if your trying to heal a squishy sin he isnt using skills to tank.. he isnt using mana. he is just 5 aps and squishy. so for HIM sage ironheart is better.

so ti any sin trying to tank sage cleric is better

a barb on the other hand is meant to tank. lvl 10 heals vs sage heals wont make much of a difference. on the other hand infinite mana will allow me do my job much better

and OBVIOUSLY is the tank has a bloody mana charm the effect of demon ih is next to useless.

Don't even TRY to tell me you can even scratch the surface of what i know.

Pet Peeve = People who assume ^^

1) You can hide other char's on Core Connect and have char's on other accounts

2) A Kittah bishing about mp = get mp pots

3) People biased on on Culti path over the other

4) Kittah's bishing when Clerics are mainly healing BM's/Sins most of the time now-a-days

5) People thinking Lvl 10 versus 11 makes no difference

6) People thinking a Cleric cannot save an hp charm tick

7) Attitude

Don't squad with randoms. Some players nowdays in random squads cause all those problems. They want to be impatient and run off let them die. A cleric can't heal someone out of range. There's just too many impatient morons who play this game these days.

Do you run into that alot when you're playing the game or just when you troll the forums and peoples threads with bad advice?

How about as a general courtesy to everyone you keep the drama to a minimum and avoid snide comments that put threads off topic?

hmmm, i see another player that joined pwi at lvl 100 already, you have never been low level yourself wow im honoured, seriously, like youve never been low lvl before, you always run 15m a sec all the time, you always could keep your mana up with bb below lvl 70, honnestly stop acting like a high level snob, you were there once too so make a damn effort to help other people cope with the cleric world rather than bashing them, also dont act like your a perfect cleric that never messed up, everyone messes up, your seen as a fool for being rude, so hunny please stop x.x

There is absolutely nothing bad with being newb, making a low level mistake. That is to be expected and you learn through your mistakes. No one said being a newbie is wrong, i would even encourage them to make mistakes just to experience it and learn.
Having an attitude without knowing what your talking about is another story, especially when they go about dissing pple 'a waste of their time' in a proper discussion. I hope your posting after following the other several threads on the cleric forums? The old pple who post on the cleric forums know that there is absolutely no one, that is an old frequent poster, that stirs up things on a thread for no reason.

No i didnt, its called sarcasm... Simply put, i said you were being insensitive because it seems that you forgot what it was like to be a low level cleric, i saw no constructive criticism in your first post, the kitten had some good points and some bad points, i believe with some points the kitten did know what he was saying, im just saying that your first post told him that he knows nothing about a cleric, it was rude, dissing i agree no need for that, therefore if i offended you sorry, however you could of given him constructive criticism instead of just phrasing yourself like that, ijs...

the only thing that really irritates me is the first thing you mentioned - other classes that are already fast as it is, or that uses speed skills + HP, and still expects slow me to catch up and heal immediately.. I use HP twice and still can't catch up b:laugh

My pet peeves...

1) People who try to imply its the cleric's fault when it isn't in order to save face.

2) People who complain about dying when they're getting rezzed and I'm the one going to town.

3) 5aps DDs who tell me how useless I am in Nirvana, but want me to buff the squad before they go in.

4) People who say lvl 11 rezz is a waste. That 40 meters hasn't been a waste..and it sure has come in handy for alot more than HH, b1tches.

5) Archers who never use alacrity on the cleric. This one comes from me being biased, as I always use it on the cleric when I'm on my archer. And if you don't, don't bark at the cleric
for getting stunned after her vacuity powder wears off.

6) People who say "heal!" every time their hp starts to drop.

I should stop..Im getting worked up *wipes forehead*b:angry

From my healing experience:

1) I hate noob barbs who take an entire room of mobs and sit there and hit ONE. Then start screaming at me because I refuse to heal and drag that thing on me and the rest of the squad.

2) I get annoyed when someone invites me to a bh halfway through the bh, and then when I try to catch up I realize that they have left so many mobs that I can barely make it back to the squad. Then they make fun of me when I die because I can't tank the mobs that catch up to me.

3) I also really don't like how slow the clerics are either. Especially in FBs like 39 where a lot of the time you're dodging walkers and you usually get even more behind when you have to sit there and wait for the walker to move out of the way while the rest of the squad keeps skittering away.

4) People who don't know how much their char can take in an AOE. I've seen it so many times when a bm who is too low level for the fb or sometimes a very STUPID robe class will run straight into the AOE. Then even though their health is plummeting they stick it out and won't even use pots. Sometimes I just can't stack IH on them and keep the tank's hp up.

Things I adore in a squad:

1. When the tank or bm keeps an eye on me personally because he realizes it's very bad if I die.

2. When the bm or veno makes sure to grab aggro off the boss if the tank happens to die and doesn't let it rampage and squad wipe.

3. When people in the squad communicate and make sure I know exactly what they want me to do and where they want me to be when they pull.

i had a squad the day of expansion.. my last day playing in game.. get mad at me cuz i dropped bb

but my cleric was such low lvl that she didnt yet have expel

they all tell me to put up bb cuz this barb is pro puller.. fcc squad lvl range 80-88 with my cleric being 87 and we in big room doing full room pull

i stack myself with heals then as barb approaching i plume shell myself and put up bb

every single mob attacks me

it sucks my mp completely empty and my hp down to just under 1000... one more second of aggro and i was toast... squad wipes cuz no bb up.. i run quickly up the ramp to avoid being killed

squad gets on my *** for losing bb but of course if i didnt use plume shell i would have died and none of their asses would have rezd me either since there was no mystics at the time that high

the pet peeve is stupid barbs making stupid pulls

if i didnt quit already i would have been estatic to get expel so i could save myself only and **** the barb

Sadly, I agree with a lot of the things in the first post. I believe it is hard to deal with being a cleric when everyone in your squad begins to gang up on you because you are slower than them. In some cases it has been my fault when the squad has wiped as i havent had MP charms to **** to save all of the Leeroy'ing DD'ers butts.

I honestly take full blame as a cleric for those times. But I really do hate how its suddenly the clerics fault because they cannot keep up with the group when they just keep running and running into more and more mobs.

Heres an example from last week.
BH39.

A BM, Level 71. We're heading towards Calcid.
'Hey, im gonna take the whole room in one. So heal me K?'
'Are you sure you can do that?!'
'Ya i did it loads of times'

Theres me just thinking suuuure he can do it. I let him AOE first. i do 1 heal. 1 HEAL?! and take aggro of them all. Suddenly when squad wipes its all the clerics fault. Yup! my fault as usualm, i believe this is why a lot of the clerics on our server either quit the game altogether or just go and make a barb to show how REAL tanking is done.

My greatest pet peeves are as follows:

1) level 50+ chars asking to duel me, regardless of class
2) How difficult it is to find a squad who is content with a cleric of my level
3) The evergrowing annoyance I feel at people illiterately shouting "Ress mah"
4) Nobody wants to help a Cleric with their quests.
5) The slightly flattering yet intensly annoying thought that you're invincible if you have a cleric backing you up.

my pet peeves.

1) tanks not aoeing or getting full agro and expecting a heal. you dont aoe i will not heal
2)AGRO WARSb:angry <-- most likely my biggest one. pick a person to tank and let them tank dont play agro wars you are more likely to die if you do
3)as usual everyone expecting a res. sure if im flying past or have just pked you and you ask nicely i may res you but if you are rude about it you can go to town
4)people QQing coz i didnt res them first if more than one person is dead. be thankful your getting a res at all

things i like
1) if i have to go to town someone meeting me at the start to make sure i can get through all the mobs (not neccisary but is nice)
2)when other magic classes use their heals to help me out if i really need it. like getting iced of the second boss in frost

Few of my peeves based on experience

1) Being slow-sometimes its hard to catch up to other players (even with Holy path) and if they have trouble at mobs or a boss or even die cuz they couldn't wait for me, they shouldn't blame me.

2) People Running around like headless chickens (similarly to the first)- If everyone runs everywhere instead of sticking together, I will try to heal them to the best of my abilities but if a death occurs(depending on situation), i don't want to be blamed.

3) Aggro Wars- If at a boss,i'm the only cleric and there are potential aggro theives, i would BB but if i'm at a boss that hits hard and cancels BB like Pole, I would not want to continously heal all of them and would want them to try to control their damage for a single person to tank.(it's different if there is more than one cleric present and/or aggro theives (5 aps) is needed to be able to quickly kill hard-hitting bosses like GBA boss)

My pet peeves:

-When someone in the squad repeatedly spams 'heal me' or 'rez me' whenever their health slightly goes down or right after they die
-A barb telling me how to do my job as a cleric even though he had no exp playng one
-When all fault is put on the cleric just for squad wipes regardless if it was aggro stealers or fail tank
-Fast FC runs where everyone holy paths every 2 secs and archer doesnt give me speed boost
-When I'm squad buffing still and tank decides to rush boss
-Everyone expects a cleric to help them but avoids helping a cleric
-Being called a QQ'r when someone complains about dying and you telling them at least you don't have to go to town
