''Anniversary packs''

Hi, im a 82 cleric on dreamweaver, who left the game a year ago when, even after 4 months of the ''anniversary'', the packs were still on shop . Now i wanted to return to the game, after the new expansion. But once i entered the server and teleacousted, people told me that packs were still into the game.

If so, tell me now, so i can go away from the game one more year. Those crappy money-earning packs ruined the game economy. Can i hope for them to go away and never return soon, or they will keep being into the shop?

If a ''mod'' reads this, i would also like to be messaged on my registration email account when you get rid of those packs.

    The Packs are renamed and added permanently to cash shop with Sales inbetween.

    The Economy you used to know dosn't exist anymore. Nobody cares about the Packs anymore expect when nobody buy them because everyone relay on the cheap mana and hp pots. There even "PWI GIVE US A DAMM PACK SALE ALREADY FFS" Voices on the Sales Comments.

    The new "uh oh i will quit PWI" flavor of the moment arn't the packs but reputation sales, Mysterious chip sales and some other stuff you need to get overpowerd rank 9 Gear.

    So please update your reason to leave one more year accordingly and say its because the noob with monney own the game now Sales QQing. b:cry

    There are now two new packs that are in the shop "indefinitely".

    Which pretty much means that they will go away whenever the sales department feels like it. Or possibly never. Most likely the latter, since it means that they sell more packs whenever they throw in a 25% or 50% sale on those packs.

    go play forsaken world, open beta starts on the 9th and its a much better game that hasn't been ruined by cash shop yet

    Thanks for your answers, i think im leaving the game one more year.

    Shame, this was a very beautiful game, excellent grafics and superb people playing it, as far as i remember :S. Does forsaken world have good grafics too?

    Yes FW is built with upgraded angelica engine, which previous version of the engine was used to built PW.

    Even tough so, the developer chose to sacrifice extended character creation that PW has and FW doesn't have that much customization. Though most of the things look smooth and we can feel more included to the story compared to PW. Because it had chapters of what happened in the history and race unique quest didn't just disappear after lv 20+

    Forsaken World's too fracking easy. And boring.... Granted I was alone for a wek and a half going to 30 recently, but it's all run ehre.. run there run here u barely have to actually kil anything. And when you do there's no challenge. **** even the "elite" mobs to get these shards to get the better gear sets every ten lvls are ridiculously easy... I find it funny they made that game for us Western peeople.... cept alot of us "western people" are dozing off playing it... lol

    Hell the auto path is SO good you can literally watch tv while u "play" cause it actually goes AROUND obstacles. lol

    Granted there's some fun instances/events.... but they're pretty short as well.... To be honest, I'd just play this and do what you can. I spend 10 bucks a month (well every 3 weeks when i go get a carton of cigs) now, but i sell that gold usually to suppplement the measly coin i get grinding. Course i get a random drop once in awhile that stil sells well, but that's rare. Since thanks to BH almost all the molds are cheap as hell. **** some are so cheap i just npc the MOLD..... rofl ya.. some only go for like 10-30k now... but some are still a mil or close.. or 2.

    Honestly there ARE better games out there. I've started going back to FFXI cause i'm getting bored with this too sometimes... but to each their own.

    Hell if i know what that means..... THEY said they made FW more for us in the West (the US and such).... i guess less of a grind fest? but they made it TOO much of run here... run there.. run here... run there.... and all YOU have to DO to run there is click the auto path. lol You dont' even have to watch it to make sure u dont' run into things. Idk..... my RL friend and i were playing it at the same time and we were dozing off on the phone.... b:surrender

    I love FW but ya it is too much running around. I tried to get to 30 to NOT tire myself out and open up all the important fetures...ya I do not have the drive to go past that at all anymore. As much as I hate all the grinding in PWI I rather come back to this expansion then go play FW.

    And the bright side to being as old of a player as i am i already have little goodies such as a mount and outfit so yep I'm good lol. from back when the economy was nice <3.
