virus protection problem while updating

I updated the game on march 2 while I left the virus protection on.
the update went great until the virus scanner said perfect world had harmful 16 viruses that could affect my computer, so I turned off the virus scanner and continuing the update but then the the game always said download error please try again. now I am confused..
should I stop the update and re updated from the start or should I just continue the update?

    Some antivirus programs may put a lock on memory sectors in use by files that are flagged as harmful. I would try to verify first. If you still run into the issue you may need to download the update again after pausing protection or disabling your AV. Let me know how this works out for you.

    hmm you may need to check the protection progarm and see has it block any thing
