What does everyone think of the kites. I was looking through the posts on the update and was saddened to see everyone complaining about them. When raging tide came out all i heard was "These are boring, elves have wings, we should have something different". Well now something different has rolled along and everyone is pissed off that its so different.....what the hell.

I for lone really like the kites, its something new and unique and fits the class in my mind. Ima buy kabuki for my mystic i think

    Kites? Definitely yay! They're a pretty original new way of flying. Not to mention, all the creative potential they hold. Although we have some in the Boutique right now, in the future we'll probably get more, maybe in future packs though. There's a picture about an angel kite thats huge and amazing. But for now, I'm gonna get the Firefly kite, the colors really capture the essence of nature. b:cute

    Although i havnt been able to play them yet, i think the kites are a nice change. b:laughb:pleased

    I like the Soaring Centipede. Haven't really seen/paid attention to the others. But as far as the idea of kites goes in general... it's a little silly, I guess, but I like them.

    I personally don't like them. It's nothing exciting. I think its dull and boring.

    I like the kites, but similar to the TB wings I find it rather lame that they can't be upgraded. There's certain less than fast wings that I'd love to use but pretty much refuse to sacrifice speed for.

    Everyone Always complains on these boards regardless of what happens. Personally I like that it's something new to break the boredom.

    There is a lot to complain about in pwi but the kites and the new areas with the new classes are nice.

    Even though I do not have an Earthguard (and not planning to make one), I really love their kites. :) Not the big monster looking ones, but the cute colorful ones that actually look like real kites. ^^ It was a very nice idea imo. It looks funny on guys, but ladies are very cute with them. :3

    actually, i like the kites. they are new and different. the only thing that i dont like about them is that stringy, glow thing thats keeping them in tact with it. if they were just normal kite strings, like maybe 2 strings (although it may be impossible to hold a person with just 2 strings but hey, its PW xD) then it might look better. either that or less of the glowy stuff cuz it just seems that theres too much of it atm.

    I say yay to the kites. They're all beautiful and the developers have the potential to make even more creative kites. That's more than can be said about other types of flight items.

    Please let it be known that I think all the flight stuff is pretty. I just think the kites are more creative. Besides. I think everyone would be complain about the same thing they did about the tideborn race if we had gotten generic wings or something to stand on.

    I love the kites! I'm so excited they didn't get wings like the tb did. It's a really neat idea I think, riding on the wind is really earthguard-y to me. :D And for whoever said they were stupid, what else would you suggest that wouldn't be stupid?

    i would say why couldn't they give us a cloud like are summons, it looks much cleaner and simple and nice.

    But then ppl would complain about walking on smog or dust and so on, i'm sure they would find something to pick at.

    Imo kites are nice, but kinda sucks that there's nothing really holding us in beside a ray of light coming form the kite it self.

    i currently have the Kabuski and love the colors on it.

    Actually, the idea about the clouds like the summons is a really great idea! I quite like that. :) They could have had different shapes and/or colors in the cash shops (because they'd need something in the cash shop :P)

    As far as the kites go, I like them. :) I think they're pretty.

    Personally I was hoping for flying rocks such as meteors or object shaped rocks like discs or "rock pathways" (think of X-Men's Iceman) maybe even clouds like the nimbus types the pets have or a thunderstorm cloud with rain and lighting.

    We don't really need kites. We have the teleporters and they are quicker transport than a kite. And kites cost zen to buy. If it's really necessary for us to fly then we should chose to be a winged elf.

    I personnaly think that the kites look great b:chuckle
    Its something different then the other flying mounts we're used to see and well it would have been dissapointive if EG we're using wings as well :p
    + They seem to float and that very earlthy in terms of the elements b:laugh
    The stones and so that you guys suggested here wouldnt have been bad either although flying rocks would have gotten boring faster I think (when you think f.e. about the colours and the pssoibilitys of making new mounts for EG's)

    I was just thinking of that. it would be very cool to fly on a cloud. While i don't mind kits, i wish they had a better variety. The idea of kites isn't bad, but the kites themselves don't appeal to much too me.

    I think kiTes are a great idea... But so far, the designes are kinda disinteresting. I wasted $12.5 for a kite named "Glazed Celestial"( a glorified flying GOLDFISH)

    WTF???! A GOLDFISH?? Maybe a huge glowingb:angry jellyfish would be much cooler.
