How to type the item name into chat

Sometimes on faction chat or world chat I see people selling equips with names between two brackets "[]" and when I click on them or put my cursor over the words, it shows me the info about the item.. I was wondering how do I do that, and how do i put the stars and such.

    For items:
    Hold shift than click item

    For star:
    my friend told me that they didnt put the star into game yet you would have to copy it from somewhere else

    step 1 copy star
    step 2 ctrl v in chat box/search box
