I don't mean to add to the complaining, but it seems to me that there's pretty much nothing good to come with this new expansion except some fashion. Maybe I'm just not understanding things right, but unless you actually want to play the new race or you're in one of the powerhouse factions there's really nothing for us.

About all my faction was looking forward to was the guild bases, and now I'm reading that the guild bases can be destroyed and there's no way to decline the PVP(Or TW..however you would like to phrase it) aspect when it comes to the bases. No one in my guild is PVP and I haven't heard any of them express an interest in PVP or territory wars. Does anyone have any experience with the guild bases yet that could clarify what the situation on those are?

    U asking for a answer with the expansion not even being a day old... I dont think you'll get an answer.

    I wouldn't worry too much about it though. There will be alot more patches and info to clarify things up for us.

    I'm sure you're right. I'd normally be a bit more patient in figuring things out but I have guild members wanting to know what's going on with this guild base we've been saving for and of course they expect me to know.((>_> I know nothing.))

    The whole description beforehand made it sound like they were copying the basics of a recent expansion of a certain "large popular P2P mmo". And for that I was looking forward to this. I guessed since the devs were putting so much work into this that they'd seen sense and were using this expansion to put fresh life into PWI and make it the amazing game it once was. Personally, following the example of a lot of other games I expected to see...

    -A full revamp of all quests (most people skip quests as they're far too long and unrewarding and full of translation errors and little storyline)
    -Aps nerfed, barb skills agro increased. (Allow every class to enjoy the game. Unless the new classes prove insanely OP, no one will take them to nirvana/Fcc)
    -Higher level dungeons. Lots of them. At the moment even nirvana can be /facerolled. There is no PvE content at all that requires anything above tt99 and moderate refine. What's the point in all this shiny gear they keep pumping out at us?
    -More dailies and things to do when you can't find a group. (Most of the high level population sits in arch for hours waiting for a BH or TT to start up)

    I had hoped to return this expansion, but lets face it's the EXACT same game. Maybe even a little worse. Unfortunately I'll be continuing with my "large overpopular P2P mmo" (stupid rule) until the devs hopefully cop on. Which is a shame, because I love the community here.

    u havent seen the new ones then huh ._. already without exploring too much ive found too many dailes to add on the to huge list i have now, it seems like they are forcing me to play one char D:

    I liked hunting the 104 mobs down by sandsong village for guild base contribution quests lol. I have yet to check out the new areas though. Hopefully there were more dungeons than just what was stated in the guild bases.

    Hmm, maybe I'm being quick to judge? Personally that's awesome if I am, I'm not just here to QQ, I'd like to see the game reach the potential it has. Hopefully these new dailies are somewhat rewarding though. :/

Well man I gotta say PvP ain't that hard I think they were suppose to balance it so you couldn't be popped upside the head by every strong faction I think it was a non newbie farming thing they were suppose to put in I don't know I think you should try it you might have fun with it.

    I agree, I have been doing my quests on my Archer due to the lack of people in RT needing BH 51. The EXP doesn't do much anymore.

    I can agree with the aps nerf, due to it sounds problematic for a certain class to kill off enemies that the other classes cannot match. For the aggro skills to improve I can see what your going at but, with the increase in aggro it will lose the luster of actually not having to facekeyboard to keep it. Thus the barb would just become worthless.

    True but, finding a bh atm is hard to find. I guess this would help that.

    People are QQ about Nirvana and TT3-3(?) Why need a higher dungeon?

    I did Nirvana last night. The sin was literally falling asleep and could barely keep their eyes open. The BM had freezing hands and told us he was stoned, and I could believe it from his typing. 2 of our members had no aps at all. We still walked through it. The instance has no real difficulty, just random "annoyances" thrown in to make it feel difficult.

    I've done bh 3-3 a few times too, and actually enjoyed it. The only thing annoying there is the need for 2 clerics because of the random 1 shots.

    That's the problem. PWI does not have a large player base. Many other non-PWI servers do.

    The expansion + ghost town servers = justified qq like everyone is seeing.

    As if anything with PW ever changes.

    The new areas look like a completely different game. No continuity at all anymore. Epic fail is epic fail.

    It's fine if you see it that way. Frankly when every part of the expansion seems geared toward those interested in PVP, yeah, those not into PVP are going to ignore it. Seems like logic to me.

    You're right, PVP may be fun. I've personally never tried it and for all I know I may be judging it too quickly, I just think it would have been nice to be able to have a guild base just to give the rest of us goals to reach for even if we don't want to participate in the battles. But it's still a new feature, hopefully someone will come along with more information on it from experience.

    Not much of the new expansion really appeals to me. I made a Mystic for the purpose of getting it to 59 for a skill video, but I can't even find motivation to do that.

    In general, even the Rising Tide expansion was pretty ackluster. Everything past like level 20 or so is just repeat. While it keeps people busy for a bit to level up, it runs into the same problem that there really isn't much varied stuff to do that keeps everyone interested.

    Yeah, they should work on content expansions... like they did with The Lost Empire or Age of Spirits... this adding new classes and starting town BS is only done to try to increase their new player profits. It's been years since they introduced any actual real content.

    I hate having to say that, but for the daily quest system, they really should steal the system other MMOs have. Basically you click the "daily quest" button, choose what role you play (DD / Heal / Tank) and the game automatically creates the party. The same for FCC, TT, Nirv would be SO FRICKIN AWESOME. But, meh, they never listen. . .

    Just feel's weird atm. Kinda like with the rising tide expansion- the new area's just feel jarringly different! =/

    There does need to be some higher difficulty pve though. It is a bit silly that every rep/rank/orb sale is accompanied by the usual "wraiths forces are on the increase- you need to gear up" blah blah, when the fact is, as others have said, TT99 or even 90 is usually enough.

    Maybe they'll introduce something after level cap is raised? -___-'
