This is not supposed to be a QQ thread, just a list of pluses and minuses.

Write down what's your biggest + and - you noticed when you logged on today.

PLUS:

Yay for new quests! I surerly need some exp:Pb:victory

MINUS:

I like my skillbars on the bottom and due to their design... the 2 bars no longer fit next to each other. That swirly thing around the first bar is taking up unnecessary space.b:surrender

    What new quests? For all classes? Please elaborate.

    For the short time (15 min) I was able to log on this morning:

    Plus: new UI is nice, though will take some getting used to. More colors ftw!

    Minus: Auto-pathing seems to be reset/change to your elevation once you land on the npc you were flying to. Wish it would stay high.

    Plus: the new classes look interesting. The guild base is a bit boring at level 1 but looks like it will be fun once leveled. Runecrafting looks like it has potential.


    Minus: The guild base seems to have everythign for extremely expensive costs. I haven't seen em yet (still level 1) but some of the "hints" it offers advertises things like a helm that seems very nice, but costs apparently, 960,000,000 coins.


    The rune crafting has no real explanation to be found on the PWI site, and in game the NPC is about as helpful as using a can of gasoline to put out a fire.

    Searching in the AH is removed

    Genie skills you now have to click the bottom right corner of the icon or it wont work

    The new chi bar is a bit annoying.

    Overall I like it, my only complaint has already been mentioned; the two skill bars no longer fit at the bottom of the screen between the chatbar and the options.

    And big YAY on being able to giving male Earthguard the same facial hair options as male humans. Also yay on not giving them the horrible emo hair the Tideborn are stuck with. I made my Seeker a big purple musclebear

    Why is it reseting my Characters look's? I make him look somewhat cool. And Bam it reset everything BESIDE his body size. When I try to change his look in the pick your character. The look stays but once you get in the game it resets and Im a Balded head no eyes or anything guy.

    Oh forgot to say. But why does this race have no eyes?

    Chi bar is a bit annoying, too.
    Mini map and buttons around it are a bit off to me, and boutique seems more cluttered to me than before.

    Yes, there are new quests for every class, but as for now... I think they won't give much exp and/or money like the TB chain did. Guess they only are for you to go check out the new area.

    My coinz are on the bottom of the inventory now, I can't stroke my e-peen that fast now...

    But the main thing that I would QQ about for now... is the effin skillbar.

    EDIT: I didn't have the chance to check yet, but REALLY? no search function in AH????????!!!!!!!

    - The new UI! I love it!!!
    - The new places! They are beautiful. *_* PLEASE REVAMP OLD PLACES THEY ARE SO OUTDATED ;_;

    MINUS:
    - The new race and classes. xD They are nice but not my thing, I'll stick with my old charatcers. ^^

    except squad menu looks very silly.
    Friendlist text is way too small when u play at 1920*1080. bigger text in friendlist plox? D:
    and chi bar looks weird too..

    The city is huge and winding, really cool looking but obnoxious to navigate. Glad I bought the level 10 flymount.

    This expansion did nothing for me. Rubberbanding still exist, Still get stupid kick bug in gamma, still 5aps exist, still sins op and NOW:

    The UI is horrible.

    PWI you have listened to NOTHING we want.

    Have yet to find anything I like about the new expansion, hopefully that will change with time & further exploration.

    The new auto-path feature that makes you set flying height EVERY time, and requires you to use the slider instead of typing a height: Massive FAIL b:sad

    To be honest, save for the new classes, I haven't really found anything I 'like' about this update :/

    The new classes are very pretty, and I will explore that area more when the lag of 'opening day' wears down a bit. The new opening screen is super annoying (with the little goblin things). Is there no way to skip that and get right to the game?

    My biggest dislike is the new in game layout. I realize that after playing for so long with the same old layout that this new one will take awhile to get used to, but I was trying to play earlier on my Main and stopped because I was getting so frustrated with things not being where I expected them :/

    Alright, my 1st impression was:

    "Nice, I like the UI and new design changes. Job well done!"

    Did quests around Earthguard area:

    "Oh, pretty sweet looking areas. Very cool!"

    Did more quests around Earthguard area:

    "These quests suck. They are boring. They give little to no reward. Why am I, a lvl 100, killing lvl 40 mobs?" (I killed that one 100 boss by the ice bridge out of boredom, thats pretty bad)

    Ran out of quests.

    "wtf? no more?"

    Went to learn about runecrafting. Found out it wasnt available, and that I needed a special item. It was very confusing.

    "Man, *** this sht"

    Started reading PW Wikipedia on guild bases. All of a sudden became disgusted with this entire thing.

    Now? I hate this expansion. My little group of people I game with and I were super excited for guild bases, now....I feel like Im gonna hurl. Guild bases are now pointless for me to experience. (And no, Im not joining the top 2 factions on the server, they both have people I would probably hurt severely if I ever met them IRL)

    This effin' blows, man.

    this is going to be a big deal for me, i can tell. i usually play in a windowed mode, where they already didn't fit without overlapping each other and the options bar and the chat window; if they've now been made wider, there's going to be a LOT of annoying overlap on my screen. fix soonest, PWE--- ah, who am i kidding, the b@st@rds never will.

    Yea, new classes, yea, yea, whatever. We will QQ about them soon anyways.

    New area, nice, but overdone to me... Huge walls and rocks and blah...

    But then... the QUESTS!!!!!!!!!!! I was expecting a TB chain - like thingy and got... 1% out of the whole thing. And maybe 100k (with drops and other ppl's coinz that they left on ground). Really? FFFFFFFFFFFFFCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK

    Ok.. so guild bases are too expensive for me.. looks like imma play even less or join a major faction... how fair... *sigh*

    Ok, back to wq...

    plus: for me? cant really think of anything...mabey tt mats will go up a bit as folks gear there earthgaurds

    minus: ah is broken the new UI is disgusting (HATE) and while the quests will be nice for my alts not going to be worth much for the bm, old glitches still exist no updates whatsoever for anyone on any old class aside from guild bases and runecrafting is underwhelming (whoop de do you can add 150 more attack or a tiny amount of stats?)

    not worth a years wait at all...

    I'm using a 21.5" monitor with a native resolution of 1920x1080 and I don't think it's too small.
    I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.
    If you see b:cute be sure to take a second, calm look at anything I said.

    Idc if there is music or not in the new areas. The new area is very nice, much nicer than the Tideborn. New classes look awesome when meditating. Curious about guildbase. What is very anoying that the "rubberbanding" when landing with flyingmount isnt fixed yet. This problem was reported over and over again. I wonder if the guildbase alone can compensate for the lack of content for high levels.

    I've to say I expected more of this expansion. I thought we could buy claymores and seeker armors, etc... but I like it anyway.

    The only thing I don't like, at this time, is that I can't use an audio player (to listen to the radio or other music) while I'm playing the game. If I do so, the game crashes every time I try to go to the main or the character selection screen.

    Plus: I really like my seeker, she's so amazing and I would marry her if I could. ;D
    I love having the sword on the back of the seeker.
    You are no longer confind to basically 3 places as a starter character, you actually have to travel the map to get to NPCs for quests.
    The new supply stash items. Thanks devs for putting in 3 day aerogear in lv 15 SS and tele incense in lv 10 SS b:thanks

    Minus: The graphics in the earthguard area looks like a mix of Aiiion and W0W. Do. not. want. Glad I'm only there for 7 more levels.
    Stupid mystics not unsummoning their pets and then they cloud up the NPC area like a bad plague. (Not really PWi's fault)
    My UI is ****ed up.
    Search in AH is broken yet again.
    If I don't put my res really high, I can't fully customize my character (Cuts off the bottom half of the customizations)

    eh, same thing happens when people roll their first veno; the "lookie i've gotta pet!" syndrome. still happens to me whenever i have a new pet to show off...

    What do I think so far of this expansion?

    Pros:

    - I always love new content. I am rather happy with the new classes, even if you cannot unsummon the pets for Mystics (seriously, I am not very fond of this ape-ish demon, so far, even if it is rather powerful)
    - The Earthguard area is really good-looking and its inhabitants/fauna/flora too. (I hope that someday old classes and NPCs will get a revamp)
    - The new interface (except for the skill bars), in terms of shape and colors; I especially like the quest log/general text and inventory windows.
    - I did not lag or rubberband today even if I joined very early. Hope it lasts.

    Cons:

    - For now, no music in the Earthguard zone. Meh. I hope we can have a patch with it next time. By the way, I'd love to have the themes in my mp3 player. b:laugh
    - Customization. I was really afraid of creating not-so-good-looking characters but I managed in the end. Even if it seems quite incomplete right now... Eyebrows color anyone? (but since I got what I wanted now...)
    - The starting place is dang confusing. I figured it out after a bit. I still have to find the banker in Tellus City though. He must be playing hide and seek with me and he is good at it.


    Not tested, and likely never will:

    - The faction bases and runecrafting.
    Maintenance time. Please choose a line:
    - When is it over? OMG I need my fix!! *super spazzing*
    - Fix the damn bugs, dammit! I'm so angry! I'll quit!!
    - New codes out there? I like free stuff~ *wink*
    - When will we get new content? QQ
    - Will we get sales? I got a ton of gold to spend.

    UI - I love it. Even the skill bars. I use the number and F1 keys so the spacing doesn't matter to me personally.
    Style wise I love how transparent it all is, very minimalistic which is great in interfaces.

    New Classes - I'm enjoying both play styles so far, and especially the process of figuring them out. Seeker is my faver. <3

    New Area - GORGEOUS. Where's the music? D: I hope they implement it. Also, honestly guys, the area is NOT that confusing. Auto pathing gives you a general direction in which to head to. Otherwise just use the map sillies! You can zoom in and see exactly where you need to go. Haha. This didn't change.

    Customization: I'm raging about how they did the same thing to Earthguard as they did TB. No changing lips or eyebrow color. I dislike their philosophy of "You want better graphics? We're going to have to put limits on your customization then." Honestly, it doesn't have to be that way. Sometimes I wish they would increase time between expansions so they could do this and get other sh*t right first. Customization is the reason I play this freaking game.
    - However, of the customizations we do have control over, I'm lovin it! I really like how the eyes look and how you can choose your forehead thingy.

    Quests - I was surprised by the writing this time around. It actually had me vaguely intrigued in the quests I've done so far. Of course I know better than to think it will last. Or that they'll even give the lore of the Earthguard a second thought in the future...or any of their other stories...but it was nice.
    - I haven't done the quests for the other races yet.

    Guild Bases - It seems new, expensive, and limited. Biggest turn off is the price and the fact you can't reject battles. I want to know if you truly lose everything.
    Yuck.

    I also wish PW would update the rest of their graphics. But honestly that WILL NEVER EVER HAPPEN. Especially now that FW is almost out and they pumped all their artists and funding into that. b:surrender
