HUUUUUUGE glitch, beware!!

I decided I'd explore the new area and get all the map markers. While exploring, I was headed west towards some part on the map that was like "Loch" something. Took a look at it, it was nice and pretty, then I continued heading west.

I was pretty close to the border because that map area is close to the border, and while flying, I guess I crossed over into the non-playable area. What happened? No "Not Available" and an invisible wall: an error screen. Client crashed. The real issue is if I try to log back in on my character, I get the exact same error screen. I'm stuck basically, and I can't log on my main character now.


So yeah, avoid the freaking southern border of the new lands. Otherwise you might end up glitched like me.

    I made a level 1 to go back to that area and try to pinpoint the problem.

    It's not the southern border; it's a random spot on the map that just glitches you up. Avoid the coordinates (244, 202). Both my main and my level 1 got the error at that exact spot. No idea what the hell that's about, but yeah, I can't play now. Hopefully GMs can teleport me away when I'm not even logged in, cause that error crashes the client almost immediately after logging in.

    If it's not on the "not available" territory, then the Devs would have to fix it, that's a terrible glitch. Hopefully frankie can pass it on to them, or try to fix it themselves.

    Sometimes using custom resolutions cause a client crash.

    At the launcher, try setting your screen size to windowed mode 1024x768.

    Then launch the client.

    This took care of some "crashing" on launch problems for me (character specific).

    Well i remember this happened a long time ago with either blade lake. If you flew over it you got an error crashed and couldn't log back on that character. Don't worry you should be able to get your main back ^^. they fixed that issue when it came up with the lake and returned peoples characters. Sometimes small graphical error's can slip though. Thanks for reporting.

    Try pressing and holding down "W" while the game is loading after selecting your character.

    It's in the game area. There's a big level 60 boss thing that swims directly through these coordinates, as well as a couple mobs swimming around it.

    Found a solution:

    Set the graphic settings to ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM. This'll let you log in safely, then you can gtfo of there.

    Sometimes running PWI on another machine will solve problems like this - you can log in, move out of the way, then log back in on your normal machine.
