So true. People was really different back on time. More teamwork, knowing their class, more helpful people without looking for something as payment... Those helpful players are most of them gone.

Well, I don't plan to stop playing PW anytime soon.

Let's go for a checklist:

- Capped or having a wish to cap fast, by all means (Hypers, BH, oracles, other shortcuts)? Surely not.
- Do I plan on getting R9, 5aps and other valuable items from packs (Watch out for the Demon of Gambling~)? No.
- Do I want to reach all I want before being ultimately bored and PK (in a PvE server none the less?)? Hell no!
- Do I love all of my characters and level them up with care? Yes, definitely.
- Would I come back if I took a break at worst? Yes, even if it would be to spend a few hours each time.

I guess this would sum it up nicely.

I don't believe in expansion because it's only about more cash for PW Co. Sure, they did big work with new race, but why just don't do fun and balanced gameplay for old races? Or fix bugs with rubberjumping, radar lags, name update lags? Answer is known.

But it's been a fun 2 years, made a lot of great friends that will stay with me on my online adventures in this game and others in the near future.

No truer words have ever been spoken, as regards any single video game. I started pwi about 3 months after it's release and it was fun back then. The players were fun, the economy was great, and everything was new. Other than the new races and a couple of new instances, NOTHING new has been added to this game, activity wise. Everything is the same from level 20 upward, regardless of your race. I've deleted so many alt's because it was the same old grind on each of them. Only my veno has been consistent. I keep giving pwe the benefit of the doubt... hoping they will actually provide their player base with something new and interesting. It's the only reason I came back for the Genesis expansion.

And as for the player base... there are still people like myself (passive) playing, but more often, you run into the greedy elitist types, especially at my level and that makes moving forward very discouraging. My whole faction has left pwi because of it's lack of new content and the inflated economy.

Another pwi problem is a storyline that can actually be followed... there isn't one. It's just quest, kill, level. Nothing consistent to keep the players asking "what's going to happen next?". A good video game is like a good book... it should contain a storyline and a moral to the story. It should lead to a climax and an ultimate victory for the heroes. Perhaps in the original, Chinese version, there was a storyline that was simply and completely lost in the translation.

I actually saw that once, but it was due to a laggy server crash. Everyone vanished temporarily. You could talk to everyone, normal chat was working like WC, but you couldn't see anyone. lol lasted for like, 5 mintues. b:chuckle

The funniest is that I created her two years ago and that I did not take it from anywhere. If it's a coincidence, I guess it is one in two billion. b:laugh

Or I stop when I can make my whole room a 3D game environment and a similar game like PW will come out with perfect realistic environment! lol

Or I stop soon unless PWI can't fix the sound of the footstep. It makes me angry to have a snake as a ride and it makes footstep sounds, argh. Also I hate to hear same footstep sounds when I run barefooted on a beach as when I walk in high heels in Archo. Crazy! Also hearing birds sing when I am under water makes me sad! Fix it Devs, it cant be too hard!

Doesn't look like I'm quitting atm because I still enjoy spending some time with some ppl here + the forums entertain me.That however,has it's limits and I'm no way as active as I used to be because there's really nothing to do.

I'm playing FW now more than PWI and a few of my friends are switching over as well but some still won't let go of PWI so I guess I'm just gonna be around forums & in-game chatting/afking/mby an instance every now & then and TW. There's nothing to get hyped up & motivated about anymore.

I wish all my friends would quit this game. b:cry

Well life is pretty busy right now and I haven't been on much. I've also made some really nice new college friends who have all roped me into WoW. So the fact I have friends and we have WoW parties makes it insanely fun in comparison to PW right now.

But I still log on once in a while cause I really enjoy the aesthetics of this game. It's a vanity thing for me.

However I just spent a few loooong hours in the final Forsaken World beta......and it's so superior I have no idea where my future with PWI is at this point. Heehee~

Not to mention, it is a LOT of fun to troll here.

When people first started ragequitting, I had the same idea, "oh, it'll improve, their loss", etc. But... They stopped doing events because of an expansion, they milked endless sales, and the major issues, rubberbanding, unbalanced game play, etc., persist.

A friend offered to buy me a Pay to Play MMO, and pay for the fee, so I tried it, and switched over. They are constantly tweaking the game for balance, adding new content regularly, and if you have a problem, their support gets back to you within hours, not weeks. Things are spelled out intelligently *coughChapelCeremonycough*, and they actually listen to their playerbase. PWI fails a lot, and for the money I spent on moderate to crappy gear in PWI, I could have had that game and a year's subscription. For the cost of 5.0, I could get like 10 year's worth of subscription.

PWI needs to model after the other game, at lest in balance and fixing bugs. I might come back if rubberbanding was fixed. Until then, I'll occasionally drop in on the forums and troll, or help, or post something on-topic but nonsense.

I've got a lot of beef with this. Sorry to derail from the main topic here, but this needs to be pointed out.

You got what you paid for.

Nowhere are you required to pay for anything on PWI. I'm 100% cash free, myself, and I've seen several signatures bragging to the same effect. So you spent money on gear - wonderful. Are you saying they didn't give you the gear you paid for? Are you saying it was somehow devalued to the point of fraudulence? If not, then it sounds like you're buying something and expecting more.

Perfect World is free. Free, free, free, free. You pay because you choose to have special advantages/items/whatever. Comparing the content to a pay-to-play MMO is not only pointless, but offensively stupid. You're paying for the gameplay, the content, and the experience with those. Of course it's going to be the primary concern. Those payments cover the server costs, and then some because every player is paying.

That is not the case here.

So for the love of all things good and wholesome in this world, save your freakin' QQ-ing about PWI. If you don't like the game or the direction it's gone, good for you. Enjoy your other MMO. Just quit trying to rail on the company.

I've kind of stopped playing already. I'm liking FW lol. But I'll test out the new classes and that might bring me back in again... at least for 60 or so levels each. That seems to be the point where I get lazy with alts.

Really all depends on the state of the expansion. I plan on making a seeker then mystic and exploring some of the new things that the expansion has to offer. I would like to level my main to 100, but eh it's boring to level in the 90s.

I started playing this game because of the traditional Chinese elements that were in there and the gameplay was pretty cool as well. All I have to really say is that those elements kind of faded, not necessarly disappeared in-game...so otherwise I've been sticking around just to have the opportunity to talk to online friends and maybe get some final goals done.

So with this expansion coming we shall see...
