    I had already quit playing and had uninstalled the game. Only reason why I am still reading and replying on this forum is because I originally had this page bookmarked and have a shortcut for it on my browser. Now I use it to access the link on the top menu to the Foresaken World Forum LOL. [Goes and deletes shortcut and remake the link]

    I acutally quit 3 times lol, but I only came back because of friends. Reason for quitting:
    1. Tired of Enrage Drama
    2. Annoyed by Glitches (Herc & Cleric Magic Buff/elastic glitches/waterfall glitch/etc...)
    3.No Point in playing since only way to be Best in game is to spend money, and I spent money on game and I mean alot lol
    4. Horrible Customer Service
    5. TIRED OF SAME SONG REPEATING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER GOD!!!!!! lol

    I'll stop when genesis expansion will show how devs again proved their incompetence.

    Again, i read too many times the word "new" and not a single time the word "fix" in the previews, and this is sick.

    Same old mistake they bring on since pw was created.

    Runecrafting is ***, everyone knows it. New classes were predicted 3 years ago. The area they are in were predicted 3 years ago. This new class doesn't have any new weapon skins, they don't have a fb19 from what I can tell, and there are no new instances available to everyone, unless you are in a lvl 3 faction, and can afford to put a **** ton of effort and money into it.

    No bug fixes to go along with it, no revamping of skills from old classes, no reskinning of barbarians that has been requested a gazillion times, no new venomancer legendary pets, nothing.

    Sorry bub, but they simply took the cheap and easy route. They instead decided, oh hey, lets get them some new dances that really no one uses! And guess what? You gotta pay for them because they are attached to clothes!

    Meanwhile, other companies of equal development team size, are pushing out tons of new things:

    New races
    New high level zones
    New instances
    Old races and zones reskinned
    New race and class combinations
    New and updated PvP zones
    New skills
    New weaponry
    Updated level cap
    New graphics overhaul as well as PoV overhaul
    Updated and fixed glitches

    I am pretty sure there are more, but thats just what I could jot off of a few games that recently released an expansion within a time period similar to PW's.

    I quit almost a year ago, even uninstalled the game... but after hearing about the new expansion and watching the trailer, I spent 3 hours last Monday evening (Feb. 21) reinstalling and updating it. (a note on this point, if I had also deleted the installation program when I quit, I would not have bothered with it again. But I still had it.)

    So, my next time to quit depends on the expansion answering several questions for me:

    1) How much fun will the new races be? (because I play for fun, I don't make it a job) A game has to be fun enough and have enough different content to hold my interest... at the moment, although I went through all that trouble reinstalling, I have *not* been able to bring myself to stay logged into the game for more than a few minutes. (see #2)

    2) Will the leveling/questing/cultivation for the Earthguard be a repeat of what we already do on all the other races, including the Tideborn? Or will it be different/new? They are, afterall, there to save the other races.

    3) How much more ridiculous will the economy become?

    4) How much more ridiculous will some (too many) of the other players become? They are, afterall, the #1 reason I quit the first time. PWE greediness ran a close second.
    There's no such thing as a "Perfect World" full of Jade, diamonds, gold, and other riches and treasures. There is only an imperfect world, with an imperfect society, full of imperfect people, with imperfect idea's about how to be perfectly rich and perfectly perfect. No one cares about being perfectly kind, perfectly fair, or perfectly content.
    It's a perfectly sad world.

    I'll quit if:

    Devs remove all forms of pk

    TW changes back

    I get bored with the game.


    Otherwise, I plan on playing consistently until I hit 100, at which point I'll probably only get on for TWs and fac base wars.

    I already quit.

    I went over to a functional, fun, not-filled-with-stupid MMO.

    Seeing people whine about losing something that was HANDED to them for FREE in the first place rubbed me wrong. Seeing people hyper-oracle then complain about losing exp, basically. "I worked so hard for that!" No, you didn't.

    I'd rather play a game with jokes in it I can get and laugh at anyway. Something's lost in translation... Chinese jokes make sense to Chinese people, but not so much to me. Cultural refrences, the same.

    So, I'm playing an MMO where people are helpful and friendly, and someone just gave me a huge amount of in-game currency for nothing, I kid you not. That would never happen in PWI.

    They mentioned the instances not being ready in time for the release of the expansion, but they are working on them and they will hopefully be implemented in the near future. b:bye

    I've quit a few times, mainly out of sheer boredom or not enough time to play. Sometimes I find another game to play (Console games mostly. I love me some Harvest moon & Zelda). Whenever a new game in those two series comes out, you won't see me around HL or DW for a good 2 weeks, depending on how long it takes me to beat the game. I'm currently looking forward to Skyward Sword and I obviously will quit the game when I get my hands on it, but I never really leave. I always come back.
    I tried to delete PWI but I ended up reinstalling it. It's like a drug. D:

    but what i cant understand is all these people saying "i stopped playing *** ago/hate this game/etc". if you have quit, hate the game and so on, why the hell are you still hanging around the forums? unless you are just posting here, that you hate it, from some perverted sense of humour or whatever. you can play other games online or platform, and still play this one. it doesnt mean you have 'left the game'. you can play other games, even Pservers, if you want...doesnt mean you have to delete all your characters here, delete the game from your PC and never come back. you can take a break, do something different, and pick up PWI and have fun again.

    the game is here to be played, to be enjoyed. if you dont like it, leave, and dont let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. this place is for those of us who like the game, not you.

    - When PWE decides to close the game (Please don't!)
    - When GW 2 comes out and I like it (ok I won't QUIT just slow down on PWI or maybe go on a hiatus) x)

    IN my oppinion repeatative games tend to get boring, and when i say repeatative i don't mean like playing a shooting game with the same ak 50 times, i mean doing the exact same quests on 3-4 or more chartacters with the exception of up to lvl 20. even forsaken world is a series of repetition except for up to lvl 10 somewhat, me n my gf have pretty much decided to check out this expansion see if we like the new class's, if we do we do if we don't we don't. but overall it really is getting boring on here, 100 people to talk to and NOT 1 of them has had something new to do for over a year, thats sad.

    I tried to quit several times, returned after a couple of months anyway !~ Felt like I got no much to do in game after hitting 100, well run nirvana, bh and a tt perhaps. When I really get bored on BM i'd log on to veno or wiz and do a quest or two or chat with my faction mates. I like PWI it's fun to be with friends of my faction, I made some good friends in there who are now really good friends in RL too. So yea, I go away for a while and come back again. Will be in touch till PWE decide to shut the servers down b:chuckle

    I've invested way too much time and money into this game. I own a 360 and 20 games, I've spent more money here than on all that. lol I'm staying until the servers crash for good and Perfect World becomes an empty world. b:chuckle

    I haven't really decided yet. Some days I have fun playing and other days I get really tired of it. Would much rather see things get fixed than a new expansion, boutique sales, etc. But I know that's going to happen anytime soon. But I do enjoy talking to my friends and faction mates when we can all get together and play at the same time. I'm in no hurry to level, never really understood why some people are, so I just go at my own pace and have fun.

    That is all there is to PWI now. It is a giant chat community, not a game. Getting gears and do PvP is pointless due to CS-Monsters, PvE is there to make you stronger for PvE. So I really just use PWI to keep contact with friends and record videos for my subscribers.

    You're right, it has turned into a huge chat room. I'll go through arch and see high levels talking amongst themselves, come back 2 hours later and they are still there talking, haven't really even moved. Heck, I even know a few of them lol. I see one or two that are in the same spot CONSTANTLY, it's like their feet are rooted into the ground b:chuckle

    Indeed. I myself just hang out at the west gate, chillin' and talking to people I know that pass by, or faction. If someone needs help, I of course join, but other then that, I might as well go afk, no one would notice. . .

    Hmm I think I'm switching to FW when it's getting released. I'm currently trying it out in closed beta and it aint bad. It'll keep me busy till November when 'an other MMORPG' hits the stores.

    PWI's got nothing at the moment to keep me here, except my ingame friends. And even most of those I talk to via MSN or Facebook nowadays. So if the expansion brings nothing new and exciting for any of the old classes I'm most likely quiting. I'm bored, there is stuff to do, but it's always the same brainless quests/instances or afk-time.


    The thing is tho.. the old player base is gone. PWI was way different 2 years ago, the players were different. Less greedy, more helpful etc etc. Nowadays people lock themselves up in FC and avoid any kind of faction activities. I'm not saying it's wrong, but it's an other way of playing I aint used to and which I don't like, together with most of the old players.

    This may well be the very last expansion PWI will ever get.
    But it's been a fun 2 years, made a lot of great friends that will stay with me on my online adventures in this game and others in the near future.
    When I got the meaning of melee mixed up:
    'Maj.. Melee ffs.. means I'm punching you in the face 1 foot away!'
