Stop recommending PWI database.

I hate when I ask for info, and everyone says to check the PWI database. Yes, it tells stuff, like monster stats, etc.

But it does NOT state who drops what. I search for Dew of Herbs...I get the basic stats of the item, not who drops it. I bring up Antilope Pups, it again gives basic stats, but doesn't say it drops Dew of Herbs (which it does).

So, it's not very helpful at all. Whoever monitors it needs to revamp it badly.

    I used to think that too, it is a bit cumbersome of a tool at first.

    One thing I found that made it easier is choosing the right version of the DB.
    Up in the right-hand corner of the page are some flags, make sure before you start searching that you click on the corresponding flag to your version.

    I use the US Flag for my version of PWI.

    It gets easier with use once you start to see the logic at work, a little bit of a learning curve thats all.

    Try looking at the page properly before dissing the site, it tells you what drops what, how many, etc etc etc. All the info is there.....learn to read.

    I sometimes have problems with PW database too, because there are so many different names for drops and monsters. :o

    i wanted to find locations for mats on pwdatabase, all i get is some mobs to kill, any ideas ??

    what kind of mat you be looking for?
    PW database shows all...
    example: Iron Ore.
    (scroll down a bit and it gives a map)

    Obviously your not using the search functions correctly, the database tells people exactly what drops monsters offer and the frequency of chance that they will drop the items. My advice is to go back in there and use the search functions properly.

    Just so you know, the PWI database site uses JavaScript very heavily, if you have JavaScript disabled you will find that the site will lack stuff that otherwise is present.
