Currently in the process of downloading Perfect World, just thought id drop by and say hellob:pleased. Have skimmed through the beginners and class forums, as well as read through the game guides, and am looking forward to getting started. Was just wondering if there was any knowledge that anyone would be willing to pass on to a new player. In any case, look forward to meeting some new people, and hopefully finally finding a game to fill the space that was left when World of ******** lost its luster and interest for me.

Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions, or for just stoppin long enough to read my rather lengthy and possibly pointless post lol. See ya's in gameb:laugh

    yay! new players

    first of all welcome!
second, might i suggest that you consider the lovely elves as a choice of race to play as. maybe an archerb:victory

alright, my suggestion is that you try archosaur server for your first time playing. its pve so at level 30 you don't have to worry about player killers. another thing is when looking at the forums take note of whatever fuzzy or fleuri says, they both know what they speak of.

Blademasters are more versatile than archers, but archers do more ranged damage. So if you like to not die easily and basically pwn things up close, BM for you.

If you like pew pew things and fly at level 1, go archer. :D

    Hey newcomers,

My advice would be to be sure to look at your quest log and to buy a pickaxe as soon as possible at the merchant (second tab of 'goods' after npcing a few mats like limestone that you will find on the starter mobs, they have no other use other than being NPCed), then sell the products like nectar or pig iron to the shops. after a while you will be able to find some items named Dragon Quest Chiu Niu (20). Save those, as there is a quest with bankers that can increase safe volume if you bring 5 of each element dust, mystical meat, soft fur, antenna, rhino horn and disguise skin.

    Then off you go.
Maintenance time. Please choose a line:
    - When is it over? OMG I need my fix!! *super spazzing*
    - Fix the damn bugs, dammit! I'm so angry! I'll quit!!
    - New codes out there? I like free stuff~ *wink*
    - When will we get new content? QQ
    - Will we get sales? I got a ton of gold to spend.
    - I'm bored, I'll create a useless thread to annoy Opkorock.
    - *Incessant poking on Sweetiebot* Fun~
