Why am I always stealing aggro?

How and why does this happen?
Especially for my cleric?

Here are main reasons why you might taking aggro...

~ You do to much damage on a mob/boss someone else is tanking and the boss/mob will go after you.

~ As a cleric you will take heal aggro and if you are healing someone who has not attack the mob/boss to hold aggro and then the cleric who is healing will take aggro.

Equip a lower grade weapon to keep from stealing aggro if attacking.

Don't heal the tank until he/she has used an aggro based skill first.

Well if you think you are doing to much damage on a mob/boss ,stop attacking, wait a moment and then continue.

I also forgot to say, at high lvls some bosses in some instances have "random aggro" witch means the boss will randomly go after anyone even if they didn't take aggro.

    It's not random.

Those bosses "reset" aggro and attack someone based off a myriad of circumstances. Usually clerics tend to generate heal aggro during the reset and because of that, they have a higher chance of being targeted.

Give the tank some time at the beginning to establish aggro.

Take steps to lower your own damage; take off your rings, remove the Jones' Blessing if you have it, use a lower level weapon, etc.
You have three chances to guess the reason for the post above.

Also, you might want to read through the "Aggro" section of the PWI wiki, as it has lots of good information on how aggro works.

Generally speaking, knowing how to control aggro is a bit of a skill that you have to learn as you play. This is one thing I have an advantage at because I level slowly. Speed levelers will need numerous rather hairy "trial runs" before they learn to dial in the appropriate level of aggro for various situations. (I'm not saying it can't be learned quickly, but I am saying it will have to learned in some much more high level and dangerous situations.)
