Old player wants answers about changes

1. It's really easy to lvl now. I got to 100 in maybe a month, if you know who to ask for help.

2. Um, on my server the map was taken over by one factions, but now another one took it over and more and more colours are appearing, so depends

3. On my server gold is about 700k. It was about +1,2m some time.

4. Not sure what you mean, I just farm nirvana, tt, WBs and whatever else I can find. If you mean doing dragon quest for the drops or orders. Nobody really does it for orders; however, even though now DQs give less $ than NPCed before, you also receive DQ points which can be exchanged for certain items http://pwi.perfectworld.com/dqrewards

To sum it all up...

The game takes no skill to play anymore.

5.0 aps means 5 attacks per second. sins, and BMs use it, in addition to some barbs. basically it gives them perma-spark, and then they can spark continuously while hitting you 5 times a second.

it has become a real problem, however, there is talk of nerfing it abit. something about a 1% change to drop a weapon every time you attack. wouldn't hurt normal melee users all that bad, but for those attacking at a rate of 5 attacks per second, it will do some damage to their fighting ability. this can aparently be overcome by binding your equip, however, bindings will now loosen slowly.

everything said in that last paragraph was posted on a thread by a reliable forum troll, however i cannot personally verify it since i do not play the chinese versionand know nothing about their updates, which influence our updates.

as for the TW thing, yeah, but they're revising the TW reward system again, and reseting the maps march second on the date of the upcoming expansion. they're also adding new instances for 40 vs. 40 battles, and a faction base instance aswell.

leveling has become easier due to things like oracles and hyper exp stones, unfortunitly this has lead to allot of high level people, who have no idea what they're doing.

gold, is through the frackin roof.

it's still the easiest way to make money grinding on a veno.
EDIT:correction, 5.0 aps classes make the most money the fastest.
however, not all is bad, with the upcoming expansion, the new classes being introduced should tip the balance in the classes, back to, well, balanced xD and some of the new features look pretty pimped out. if you start playing again, come march second, i think overall, you'll like what you find.

Hypers. I presume from some examples you give in your entire post that you were around for oracles. Hypers dramatically increases leveling speed.

2) Hows the old TW doing?
did the prophecy came true?? are there only one almighty faction that owns everyone now and all the terriotorys? like other perfect worlds??? when i left it was down to 2 factions tao and this other one i cant remember.

I guess I could be one of the many saying this won't help top faction (or 2 factions) run roughshod over the entire map again as usual. However, the map reset provides at least some temporary fun, and the rewards also make it worth it for a short while for said non-top faction or factions.

3) How much is gold? when i firstplayed it was 100k or 120k if u just have plenty for it. howe ver when i left it was 300-400k for gold. did itlower? get even higher? or stayed the same?

700k - 850K during non pack sale. 850k - 975k during pack sale.. last couple months.

4) Are there better ways to farm gold besides farming those rare thingy u need for dragon quest i think it was called with a venomancer or do is it the same? any new professions that make gold farming more easyer better drop rates free items? anything at all that makes getting gold a little easyer.

Nirvana, merchanting. Without a doubt it's much easier to get endgame ****, especially with the rep/chip sales.

It all depends on the outlook you had when you quit the game. The game hasn't changed much at all. It's just a matter of whether or not you can deal with it.

Personally, with everything going on in my RL life (wife is pregnant, gotta find a second job) I've played the game less and less, and with zero content being released besides the expansion area, and guild bases (didn't feel like adding dances as a bonus), I might be either quitting or cutting it down to maybe once a week or less.

In Dreamweaver people are selling Frost instances cleared to the exp room for 2mil. People are also paying for other classes to run them completely through b:surrender

1. The game became a grindfest to lazy pamperfest. So leveling is not worth it if you don't actually enjoy the game. The only people that actually deserve to be 100+ is the casual gamers who actually were from 2008 to the first of august in 2010. But since there are dailies/hypers/pack oracles/nien packs. You could get to 100 in a week if you have $$$

2. TW map reset (should reset every weekend IMHO)

3. Gold is currently at 700-800k and I pretty much like it that way, should be at least 1 mil per gold

4. Grinding as a 2x and 5x veno would be best solo due to a good demand of a certain quest, either them or cleric / barb for squads like TTs.
