Deicide Claws

Ok I must be stupid for never noticing this before. I have always thought that it was "Decide" not "Deicide".

Has anyone else ever made this mistake? Has anyone thought it was Decide? I just feel really dumb right now.

The funny thing is that I am using Google Chrome and it detects spelling errors and it says it's spelled wrong.

Deicide; The act of killing a God. Similar to Suicide, Homicide and Genocide.

I always thought it was sad that people can't read Deicide and always "say" it's called Decide. I also wonder why you use God-murder to make Kings-murder.

Well, it's named that because it was following it's name progression in the Lunar/CV naming series, since the CV green weapon to make it is called ☆Manhunt
then to naturally signify it as a stronger version, is why it is called Deicide (God-killer), and finally 1st cast Nirvana, Regicide (King-killer).

I know you would already know this, but yes I agree, English speaking or not, you shouldn't find any sense in a weapon called "Decide". O_o

It actually has something to do with the brain and the way we read. Most of the time, when you read things, you don't look at each letter. You look at the whole word at a glace while moving on. Haven't you ever read the email that has the letters all jumbled up? Only the first and last letter of the word is in the correct order, the rest are scrambled. Same general idea. So, seeing Deicide as Decide is quite understandable. (Though, it might be just because they don't know how to pronounce Deicide, so they say it as Decide. So natuarally they spell it that way too :D)

I completely ignore the "I" in there at times, so end up saying "Decide".

It is a kick*** meaning though. I might name a seeker that. b:laugh

    Bzzzt! Nope, sorry, wrong answer.

It has to do with your level of education and your vocabulary.

Something similar occurred to me with a player's name. Some of you veterans may remember an archer named "Defected" from Heaven's Tear. I always read the name as "Defecated".

Well the reason I didn't notice the i in Deicide was because it was simply to small.
