Ok guys as my first post on this forum I feel it would be adequate to tell you all a story of total falure and just plain sadness. When I'm done telling you this story and you know anything about the boutique you will either laugh your *** off your feel very very sorry for me..... or both.

Disclaimer: I don't know if there's a rule against cursing on this forum. If there is just say so and I'll edit the post.

Ok so as my assassin I was just going through the motions of the day. After taking out a miniboss I went back to archosaur to just do my next mission. I decide to look in my inventory to check on my items when THERE IT WAS! A Cloudchase Gryphon. What the hell was that doing in my Inventory. I had recently taken a look at the Boutique and only Saw it once and thought I'd never get one because I have no money to buy one. So wtf was one doing in my inventory like I had it all along? I was STOKED! A few days of pondering if weather I should sell it for a ton of money or make a new character and use this beast and I made my decision. I was gonna use this puppy. I was so excited. I made my barb mostly because I wanted to use it. I had gotten it in the mail and just decided to wait to get to level 20 to use this puppy. After a little while of wandering around and doing quests I checked my inventory. IT WAS GONE! "WTF where'd it go?" I look at my coin..... and I had 10000 more coins than I really should've. I sold the thing by accident. I WAS PISSED! i WAS SO ****ING PISSED! How the hell did I get that thing? I thought that sense the server was messing up for me yesterday mabye it was a glitch and it replaced an item in my inventory or maybe sense I was partnered with a bunch of high levels I acciedentally picked one up when I was on a squad with them. I don't know all I knew was I SOLD IT! I WAS PISSED! FUMING IN ANGER! I cant tell you how many times I called myself a ******. A free Cloudchase Gryphon. I know how much their worth too. 7 - 8 million or something like that. I thought for one second when I got it from the mail that I should put it in the Banker but I had only thought about it for 1 second before I went on my merry way..... and now it's ****ing gone! I'm so pissed off at myself for doing something SO ****ING ****!

Now this begs the question have you done something so stupidly **** on this game or at any point in your life that you just have to call yourself **** a million times and you still wont be satisfied. btw I'm a lv 20 now and I'm just so sad. b:sadb:shedtearb:cryb:angry

    Well, at least you didn't pay for it. Think what it would've been like had you actually payed for it. b:shocked I think everyone's done something stupid, dumb, or just plane idiotic at some point while playing. Whether that is accidentally selling something, getting a few mobs too many, or just goofing off. Doing stupid things is part of life, not just the game, and the best way to deal with it is probably just look at what happened and laugh at it like the joke it probably will become at some point in time.

    That, and learn something from the experience. In this case, always double check what you're selling, sending via mail, trading, dropping, or otherwise getting rid of.

    Sorry to hear about lossing the Gryphon. There is a thread dedicated to sharing stories about mistakes people have made. I wish I could find it but I do not remember what it was called anymore. Reading it though would probably make you feel a LOT better....if only to realize that you are not alone. Trust me when I say, everyone has done silly things in this game that they have regretted, whether they are willing to admit to it or not.

    Well, I have accidently unequipped and Npc'd some TT gear when my barb was my main. I was dueling people and somehow i felt my barb was just a little squishier than he had been before so I checked my gear....and my leggings were gone. I realized I must have mindlessly npc'd it and spent the rest of the night scrambling around to replace my tt gear. I felt so stupid.

    When I was around 8x, In my haste to get a Perfect Token for 4.5M (what a deal!) , I made the mistake of buying just a Reg. Token. b:surrender

    i set up shop one night with a newly made max stat Anchor of Chaos priced at 36 mil with shop title "make an offer". Next morning I got no offers but sold about 4 mil worth of other sales so I figured what the hey - refined and sharded it and equipped it (now bound to me). Later that same night I got a PM "are you still selling that weapon?" b:laugh

    and there was another time I npc'd a TT mat b:surrender

    Stupidest thing I've done in Pwi is get killed by Krixxexx (however you spell it) over and over again.

    However in a different MMO I've done something similar. In that MMO you get jetpacks, they have to be crafted and the mats take a long while to collect and on top of that there is a faliure rate. Basically they are expensive to buy off someone and pretty hard to craft yourself, expecially since you have to be a certain class.

    Anyways, I was messing around and putting on lower armor to see what matched the jet pack and when I finished I went to a npc to sell the armor and my jet pack accidentally went with it.

    Ever since then my tag in the vent I was using at the time switched around from fail to jpnpcer (jp=jet pack).

    the most addicting/stupid thing i did was gambling on 1-5mil boxes b:sad i spent 10mil and got just 5mil back
