Sage sin question

What is the highest APS you can achieve on a Sage sin, was curious if it would be worth it since the sage book is an extra 3% bloodpaint?

    Highest aps for sage sin is 4, and it requires every -int you can get (tome, r8 plate, nirvana leggings, TT99 wrists, lionheart and ashura TT99 (2) bonus, cape with -0.05 and g13 TT nirvana daggers).
    With windshield lvl1 on a high mag genie you can get 5 aps and keep it up the time to kill a boss. But the 6% damage reduction of windshield overwrite the 25% of sage spark. There is also relentless courage on a str genie that works, but it has 30 sec cd.

    Idk if it's problem with english, but just to be sure : sage bp is not an extra 3% bp, but it increases the effect from 2% to 3% (so 1% additional bp, which is 50% more heal).

    It's hard to judge if it's worth it for someone else. I'm sage and I love it. Being able to keep up 25% damage reduction combined with sage bp increases survivability a lot. Sage spark is really underrated these days, the damage reduction effect is what makes sage bp extra great soloing. Sage bp also allows to stay alive easier when sparking is a waste (fb mobs for example). Ofc, this is all just my personal opinion. There are a lot of threats dealing with sage/demon on assassins, I sugest you take a look at those if you hesitate on your culti.

    Ahh, yeah the way I read it was as another 3% on top of the 2%, since sin is my only character and I don't plan to make another one anytime soon, I guess demon would be the better way to go to get 5 APS easier(cheaper)?

    Nope, it's 1% extra, so the amount of bloodsuck of normal bp multiplied by 1.5. 3% added to the base 2% would just be too

    To get to you question, yes if 5 aps is your goal, demon is easier. With 3.33 base aps you will be 5 aps sparked. So you could be 5 aps without a tome, or with a weapon with only -0.05 aps. Sage can't be 5 aps without genie (unless you use fists). On both, getting high aps is expensive though. On demon it sure is easier, but not like you reach it without effort (or $$$).

    I suggest again to look for 1 of the sage/demon discuss threats, unless you limit your choise to aps potential only.
