Genesis gold selling

I need some financial advice....

I bought gold today and im planning on selling it at gold trading. But i was wondering:
When the new genesis expansion comes, will gold prices rise?
because if thats the case i will keep my gold a lil' longer =P

    i, for one, (probably along with countless others) would love it if there were a cap put on the price of gold, or they somehow implemented a system where gold bought from the gold trade couldnt be resold in the gold trade.

    and no, i'm not one of those who's never spent anything on this game... but the last gold prices i saw in the 900,000's range is absolutely ridiculous.
    i'm pro all classes, and against none in particular..
    but the age old QQ about venos is just that. OLD.

    That depends entirely on what goes on sale, and what kind of demand there is for it. You'd really need something as hot as the initial demand for the first General Summer's Sale to get gold prices to soar, though; even with the current sale, prices are slowly falling on Raging Tide.

    Buy Gold only during Bonus Zen sales. Sell your own gold when prices rise (usually anticipating holiday sales, or new expansions, etc). Buy gold from other players when prices tank with your coins --like they are now on Raging Tides server.

    My strategy: Let other players who spend hundreds of hours farming mats, using hard-earned in-game coins to buy CS items from cash shoppers and other equipment, craft the gear you want; because at some point, they will sell that gear for upgrades. When I see the gear I want for sell, I just buy it right then and there without all the wasted effort. I don't even have to buy molds anymore, I just buy cheap mysterious chips (in-game) and get the molds that I need from the mysterious chip merchant that way. I don't use those molds to craft weapons myself, if I make them, I turn around and sell them for six digits or sometimes a million to non-cash shoppers who are tired of farming and questing.

    You can do all you need and make plenty of in-game coin by spending $10 every other month or every 6 months.
