Dude...I thought we had one (sorta) but it doesn't work so like...we need a radio station or something...playlist of the day lol anything. Any ideas? o_o

    I use Pandora. One hour at a time of barely interrupted music, and that's as a free user. I subscribed for $36 for a year and get 4 hours of uninterrupted music at a time. ^-^

    lol I pay $0 a year for uninterrupted radion on WINDOWS media player... lol

    granted some have commercials, like 1.FM, 1CLUB.FM has em too but they're short if there's any at all, but I listen to Aggression-Distortion Radio (that's the name) station now most of the time (if you like rock).

    Btw the in-game radio (if it's still even there) blows...... used it for a little bit then it stopped. I alt tabbed out adn saw u had to subscribe for more. Ya... suck more of my money... i dont' think so.

    Would be nice to have one PWI radio station...

    We know we can listen to other radios or music stations while we play but it should be like a personal PWI radio station with chineese guys talking in english and putting nice pop chineese songs mixing it with occidental ones :P

    (Because I guess that was the goal of that button in the menu)

    That would give the game a high status b:chuckle

    What I would really like is a kind of player that allows me to choose betwen all the audio tracs existing in the game, for me to listen them in the place and moment I want. I'd also like to have all the tracks available for download int he web page b:laugh

    To listen to any different music I alreayd have lots of radio stations in internet.

    Humm, I do have the audio tracks from perfect world in my playlist.

    They are named things like city_d1.mp3

    And... I'm not sure where I go tthem from, any more. I'm sure the forums pointed me the way, back in the day.

    Edit:
    The wanmei stream just gives me 200-OK and then... no sound. Not sure why.

    Hmm well I know other media players (like windows) and some programs + youtube makes some people lag. Would be awesome for an in-game radio station with different channels (so we all dont have to listen to bieber lol). Hell, a player made playlists on an in-game radio would be awesome lol sorta like a dj of a sort but it would get the community more involved besides the usual "dude....im so effin bored..." lol

    The game music tracks are in "~\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\music\ambiencestereo\" in .wav format.

    Best I can come up with is making playlists on youtube, tinyurl it, then wc it for people who wanna listen to it. Any other ideas that come to mind? ;o

    I highly suggest Grooveshark as an online radio service. You can make your own playlists depending on what you like and it has no restrictions for US only. I quite like it even though I don't use it often, I usually like listening to my own playlists from music available on my computer.

    A long time ago, there was sort of an unofficial PWI radio, hosted by a guy on Heaven's Tear. He would basically DJ on world chat daily, asking for requests. He ran his own media server, and hosted his radio show off of it. He also always had a Private chatroom on PW open for people to enter and give requests or talk to him. Sadly, after about a year of doing this he ran out of cash to host his server, and faded away. Judging by this thread, I doubt anyone remembers him.

    Anyways, I use iTunes radio, or music on my computer for music. I use PureVolume/Youtube for streaming music from bands and whatnot.

    Kind stopped Djing and playing PWI because of general lack of interest and feed back from listeners. I will probably check out the expansion, but I am enjoying Forsaken World....
    I suppose if enough ask me I could pop in PWI for a bit each day.

    Pandora is nice for when you wanna find new music. :) It plays continuously and based on what you thumbs up or down, it plays more of what you like. Pretty cool.

    Yeah, Pandora is nice, however, it isn't too interactive, I do like their set up though and I would love to get a hold of just the title list of their music collection. Well, they are corporation and I am just doing this as a hobby type business.

    Wasn't there a thread at one time of how to input your own music into the game files so you could listen to them instead of the game music?

    it is kinda limited to the amount of audio files that is in the PWI sound folder and it would require a lot of tag editing, Me I just make short Blank files and replace the sound folder with that, this way I don't get the music and FX blast when I ALT+TAB.

    Oh the music files should be converted to Wav as well but that takes up a bit of space, my suggestion is to find a station or media source you like

    I mean Pandora is cool and I saw a few others that I am loosely connected too. Me, I play whats asked for, my rule of thumb is "If its asked for and I don't have it, I will get it, just give me time"

    Anyhow, back to my grind.

    I have one 128kbs stream for those with uber computers

    I have two 96kbs for those who can't listen to the 128 stream

    and I also have two 64kbs streams for those that can't listen to the 96kbs


    My servers are located in Colorado, Chicago, and Amsterdam, so this station is truly World Wide and I have plans on getting another overseas server later.

    I have found that most listening that experience the "LAG" involves not having enough RAM memory or it involves their ISP upload download limits. Which outside of adding a 32kbs stream I have no way to address this problem.

    Sorry, wish I could be more help for this issue, but I can stream to my servers and play games like PWI, DDO, Guild Wars, Forsaken World, Rift, Vinditus and Soul of the Ultimate Nation because of my upload, download and 3 gigs of Ram

    However, even I lag in "Lagasuar" (PWI) and Freedom Harbor (FW), I am hoping that the world channels in Forsaken World will address this. Its too much data transfer-ed in a small area of the server, Avatars, Auction House posts, Dailies and what not.
