how can other people transfer gold to your account?

can other people use prepaid card and transfer to your account? do they need your password?

    If someone has bought a prepaid card for you, have them give you the numbers and then redeem it on your account. As far as I am aware, you cannot transfer zen from account to account.

    Gold which is the in game currency (different from zen, zen is on the website, gold is once its been sent in the game) the only way to trade gold is through the AH, but of course you have to pay the AH fee to do so Once the zen has been transferred into gold, it cannot be transferred back into zen.

    If people want to gift you zen, have them give you the serial number on the card for you to redeem.

    Never give your password out to anyone. That is for you only. People can **** you like that and they will. Don't even give it to a person claiming to be a GM.

    A lot of problems come from sharing your password. The real GMs will NEVER ask you for it, for any reason.

    Best way to lose your gear and anything of any value (sentimental or not) is to give out your password.

    Probably the easiest way is for your friend to get a zen card for you. The AH version of gold trading can take forever and imo its confusing as heck.

    this person call -removed- told me that he/she can tranfer gold to my account if i give him/her my account and password. i refuse to give he/she password. i really think its a scam. if anyone doesn't think its a scam, pm -removed-

    Don't name and shame in the forums. Please edit your post to remove that name.

    Also, yes, this is more than likely a scam. Never give anyone else your account name and/or password, even if it's a friend.

    If you want to report this person, do a screen capture of them asking for your personal information and then send it in a ticket to PWE.

    Did they by any chance offer 350 free gold? Cause that happened to me and my faction mates quite a bit lol.
