I miss the days when this game actually looked and felt like playing an MMORPG - when there were players scrabbling all over the map wherever you went doing quests, grinding, and whatever else they pleased. Now when I wander the map, its a like exploring a deserted wasteland in comparison to how it use to be.

I mostly feel bad for the new players who will never know what the game was like when the map was PACKED with players all grinding away.... it was so much fun meeting people, squading with strangers, fighting for mobs, finding help for bosses in a matter of seconds, etc.

Maybe I am just being pessimistic but too often it feels like this game has been reduced to just cash-shoppers running instances non-stop *sigh*

I miss the days where rare pets were worshiped and people actually bought them. Especially when like, 5-10 venos would sit there waiting for hours at a time for it to show, and go crazy when it did. Then, you'd see like, all the venos push 'Tame" at the same time, and you'd sit there waiting for the channeling to end, praying the message "You have obtained Shadou Cub egg" to pop up. Oh, and I miss how venos with nixes were like gods, and all the other venos with their sawflies and foxwings were like "ohsnap that chick has a nix. Gotta pray for my life". But hours of waiting on those damn pets paid off in the end when they sold 600-1.5m each everyday. Earned nearly 60m+ in 3-5 months worth off just those, just to waste it all on a herc that can't even serve the purpose as to solo TT anymore.
Good-bye to making money the fun way... Hello 15 minute Nirvanas. b:bye
