Tideborn issue plz help

for some reason all the other races r visible in the create a character stage but the Tideborn are not. they first appear when selected but then they just go dark and no matter what I do to them I cant see them which sucks cause I really wanna make a Tideborn toon. How can I fix this? b:sad

    Have you tried verifying your client? This may solve the issue you are having. If the issue persist please feel free to show us a screenshot of what is going on.

    Click Verify. It may take a while to check all the files. if it finds missing files, allow it to patch them in.

    oh wait I forgot to completely close out of game first. ok Varifying now. Hopefully it works. Of not I have some screen shots of the problem if that would give u a better idea as to whats wrong.

    Ok now it says file download error try again? and I clicked yes twice now but its still the same thing
