It really all depends on you....it can take years or it can take weeks to hit 100. It is just a question of how much 1) time and 2) money you are willing to put into the game.

Technically, it is a "free" game to play, but don't expect to level half as fast as someone willing to slap down a wad of cash to buy all their gears/mats and oracle/hyper their way to 100.

Edit: It also depends on how you choose to play the game. For some people, their goal is to level as fast as possible, for others however, it is about socializing, helping people, doing the regular quests, and just having fun without the pressure of leveling.

Depends how often you play and what you do.

I joined at the end of November 2010 (so, what, 3 months ago) and I have a lvl 77bm, 50 cleric, this one 23, and a 14 cleric.

For my sin, I went from 1-20 in one day. Playing roughly 10 hours. But I also knew what I was doing due to having made a psy from 1-16 then deleted cause I didn't feel like a psy anymore b:chuckle

I don't recommend this to new people (due to them not learning the game and how to play their character/role in the game) but you can hyper rush (pay people to take you through frost covered city) I know one girl went from 17 to 36 in one run (took about 30m-1hour) and cost her 1.5m per run she did. Yes, you do have to put money in the game to get the money to do that (1.5m at lvl 17 is ridiculous to grind/aim for without real money) so it's about 2 dollars real money (USD) depending on gold prices.

To be honest, for me the worst levels are 20-30. 30-40 is easier but not so good for me. 40-50 is crazy easy, doing BH and CS (daily quests you can do) levels you up once so I don't even quest then. 50-60 is about the same. 60 it slows down to about 50% a day. 70-75 is alright but after then it gets pretty rough. Once you hit 80 you can do groups to do the Frost Cover City (don't pay people, actual squads to run it) which can get you up pretty quickly there. And the only reason my BM is only 77 is cause I'm too lazy to do my daily quests and felt like making a sin.

But yeah, totally depends if you want to pay or not (paying makes it faster/easier such as for gear, weapons, all that jaz) but it's totally do able without. Heck, first person to make it to 105 says she never spent a dime on the game.

I took my sweet time leveling up, enjoying the content, exploring the game, learning how to play my toon and making friends.
