Couple of questions

Firstly, how do I get Dragon Points? Is my accumulated total actually accurate on the Dragon Points link on the top bar of this site? It says I have 5,I don't remember getting any, or do you start with 5? Where can I spend my points?

Secondly, when are faction bases/houses going to be released?

EDIT: Also, forgot to add, what is the price of gold to buy from the website? I couldn't find anywhere that said the prices. I know that 1 zen = 1 silver, but am not sure of the prices.

You acquire dragon points by selling the dragon-quest items to NPCs. If you click the 'dq item list' button it will tell you all those items. They also tell you in-game in the mouseover text how much each item is worth.

Note that it usually takes a couple of hours after selling an item before it shows up on your page.

Secondly, when are faction bases/houses going to be released?

Faction bases come in with the new expansion, which comes atr the start of March.
EDIT: Also, forgot to add, what is the price of gold to buy from the website? I couldn't find anywhere that said the prices. I know that 1 zen = 1 silver, but am not sure of the prices.

    $1 (US) = 1 gold.

Ah, thanks again for another great reply ^_^ so when I sell an item that says it has a dragon point value of 1, I get the dragon point and the money? Also is there anywhere in game that I can view my Dragon Points and spend them? I know where the guy is by Etherblade, is that where I go? :)

Yes you do, and no you can't. You do everything through that web-page, the items then just turn up in game. (They get mailed to you, it takes about an hour for that, too)

You won't have enough dragon points to buy enough stuff to make a difference for a good long while, anyway. It's a fairly small reward.
