I am new to this dungeon and not able to figure why we have to reset the dungeon on some runs.

Originally I was thinking that you killed a guard, it openend the door. Killing the boss down that corridor would open the door to the right of the one you just went through. A dungeon reset was needed if the bosses were not in clockwise order.

Now im not so sure.

You've got it. Some people don't have a full grasp of it though, so they'll reset even between two consecutive bosses (Drake -> Glutt for example) when it's not needed.

Yes, in that dungeon you kill the guard for the first boss you are going to do. Then all the guards dissapear, meaning that to open the door to the next boss you have to do, you will have to kill the boss that comes before it. This would be a tedious way to do it if you got 2 bosses that werent in consecutive order. So to avoid that, people reset the cave, and just do the next one they need because the guards are there to open the gate.

So if you have say the metal boss(forgot her name), then the fire one(drake), then you would kill the metal boss, reset the cave, then kill drake, so that you dont have to kill all the bosses in between that you dont need.

Yes, as mentioned previously, some people reset the cave when they have their bosses in consecutive order aka when it is absolutely unnecessary to do so
Probably because they don't know how reset works, or what the purpose of it is.

If I remember right there is 3 diffrent orders of the bosses for bh7x:
    Drake > Glutt > Ofotis
    Pyro (bh69) > Glutt > Drake
    Qianji > Zimo > Drake

The order in the bh59 cave is:
    Zimo > Ofotis > Qianji > Drake > Glutt

Either kill the guard for the boss or the previous boss to open the way.

In the first order D>G>O you dont have to reset between Drake and Glutt, but after Glutt you have to so you can get to Ofotis

In the 2nd P>G>D you first have to be in bh69 for Pyro then you can resquad just to get out of the cave to go to bh59, after Glutt you have to resquad again.

In the 3rd Q>Z>D there is a trick. After Qianji you have to resquad. And as all resets with a new squadleader. After Zimo is dead you should resquad again BUT with the person who had lead from the first run with Qianji dead. That way Drake is open. The only way this dont work is if the one who had lead from Qianji gets lead under the Zimo run, after the disban from Zimo or if the run is more then 4 hours.

    Hope I wrote this understandable

Actually, you'd need to resquad with the original squad leader within about 20 minutes, since the instance resets in that time if no one is in it. (If everyone's stacked, do Qianji and Drake, then resquad for Zimo, or vice versa.)

Honestly, BH59 is best done stacked this way everyone knows who needs to be done and whether to wine (if you have to do all 5 and don't feel like fighting it all) or when you need to reset. Because it's not that people won't wait for you to pick it up, but that if you get one that is already done. it sucks. People came to kill each boss (needed) one time, not twice, Like I don't bail out of a BH when mine are done. But I know once we had to kill all 5 (mixed BHs) then the person turned in and needed one we finished right before, think it was drake they needed right after we killed drake and glut in a row, which for that you need to plan on getting another squad, 8 bosses to finish a BH that could and should have been done in 5 is crazy. And for those who are stacked, if you have to reset, usually it's only once. And it's so you don't have to kill the boss in between the ones you need.

(This wasn't meant to be off topic.. was in reply to about being stacked and resetting..)

so people still think they have to reset after glutt to get to zimo? omg fail...

    glutt opens metal path.

doesnt matter where u start killing 1 boss will always open the next path, even if u kill glutt it will automaticly open zimo, no need to reset there
