Guild Base Solution

OK, here's the problem. EVERY FACTION wants one. Some smaller factions might have trouble farming Warsong Emblems in a reasonable amount of time.
Here's the solution:
1 Gold for a Box of Ten Emblems from the boutique. Willing to spend $50 to set your guild up?
Everything else is farmable by anyone level 40+. Might take a while for a guild of lower levels to farm all the coin needed to get the rest, but they can easily truly farm the subs, the chips and the coins.
PW makes a grip when every faction drops $50 plus whatever else gold they cash shop for the rest.
Bigger Stronger Guilds will still have more upgrades than the smaller guild and so still gain advantages in TW etc. but smaller guilds at least get to experience the base and get a taste of what it could be like if they work hard and level and grow.
OK let's the FLAMES and +1s begin. Anyone else like this idea?

Ya'll realize that the exact number of items/money needed here might be different from that of China? I know usually PWI doesn't change anything, but there's a slight chance they might change it to fit our economy more.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

There's no chance in hell of that and it's not THAT demanding to ask 200mil, 500 chips, 500 emblems, and 2000 subs out of an entire guild.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I prefer that people actually work for something, for a change. And by work, I mean, game play, not the physical action of clicking submit on a payment page.0

Doubt they'll change it. A faction is 200 people. If they made it so that it could be afforded by a single average person, there'd be no point or challenge to it. So let's see. For a real faction, it would be 1 mil, 2.5 chips, 2.5 emblems, and 10 subs.
That's not unreasonable is it?0 -

Not to me personally, I am just thinking of those faction that choose to stay smaller to avoid drama etc. Would take them forever to farm the Emblems in particular.
A bigger harder working guild would still get better upgrades, since those have to actually be achieved through the 40 v 40 battles.0 -

Not really. My guild is less then 100 people atm and we well over 1/2 way to obtaining ALL. The coins, subs, emblems etc in less then 1 week of farming.
Not hard to do at all but it takes a plan and more then the guild leader and execs to do it. I think most people tend to think with smaller guilds the leader will take the burden and fork over most of it. And this is why there is so much QQ.b:bye0 -

The average of the bid-ask spread on Sanctuary was 721k coin per 1 gold at some point today. Over the last 4 days the average is 728k and over the last 28 days it's 799k. Tokens were recently still available for around 17k on Sanctuary. A 25-pack of Mysterious Chips gives 375 Chips for a mere 20 silver (1875 Chips / 1 gold).
200M coin @ 728k / gold = $274.73
2000 Ultimate Substance @ 7 tokens / 2 subs = $163.46
500 Mysterious Chips @ Two 25-packs = $0.40
500 Warsong Emblems = ???
You could argue that the equivalent cash value of the chips is only $0.27 but either way it's practically "free," so not worth arguing over. However, $50.00 just doesn't seem in line with the cost of Big Notes and Subs. The evil marketing genius is more likely to price Emblems closer to the cost of the Big Notes and Subs and price them at 3 gold for a pack of 10 (??? = $150.00).
I saw a cat-shop in South Arch trying to sell Emblems for 500k a pop... so a player is trying to set the price at $343.41 (although not sure how successful he'll be at that offering price ).0 -

I think you are placing too much value on subs. Subs are EASILY farmed by anyone who can fly or ride a mount.
I put Warsong Emblems in a separate category because you realistically HAVE to be lvl 95+ or roundabouts to farm them. The big complaint I see from the smaller guild is the inability to farm the Warsongs.0 -

Shut up and level your faction or join a bigger one. Problem solved.

sorry but i have to say it... people with a attitude like yours is why we think alot of the people on here are complete... well arseholes.
No name factions dont' matter? Just because ALOT of us could give a **** about PK or TW doesnt' mean we dont' matter. Our faction is completely full by the way, thing is we only got a couple 100's +, a few 90's, most have 70's or 80's toons adn we all have like 8 alts lol. Alot of factions that jsut play this for fun (and don't care about TW or cash shop 300 bucks or a grand a WEEK) are like ours, we may be full but dont' really HAVE that many people.....
Guild bases are there for ALL of us to enjoy.. But i have to agree this price is a little out there, and this is just to START one.... Some of ya need to realize before you open your mouth and sound like a condescending jackass that not all of us can easily come up with this even IF we got everyone to farm for it or w/e. That's my two cents, but some of these comments are just pissing me off ... lol

which means if you have a small faction that means:
4 mil, 10 chips (10k?) , 10 emblems(750k) , and 40 (1.6M) subs a person,
6.36M coins a person, which is really not hard to get, even for low level people 2 weeks of a small guild working together for this one common goal should be no problem, even the smallest guilds with nobody over lvl 80.
bases are probably intended to be additional end game content, since the game is so lacking in that, and PWI is constantly coming up with new ways to get people to 100 faster and faster. if thats the case, bases are another reason to level up and have the bases provide you with something to do once you have leveled up, seeing as how a large part of the base system is going to be PVP, lower levels probably wont get too much enjoyment out of it anyway. no reason to get all agro cause your lower level, its just another goal to strive for.
with the current gossip on the requirements to get a base, you hardly need to charge 300 to 1000 dollars a week to get it. even if a small faction does no ingame work to get a base its still just $10 or so a person.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
The Warsong emblems and subs come along very quickly if the guild in question has enough 100+ people. BH's often give you 8 subs and routinely send you into Warsong City.
What worries me are the Mysterious Chips. Why?
The chips themselves are NOT TRADEABLE. The packs are. So you can't contribute raw chips to towards the guild base unless you are the leader -- you have to contribute *packs* which is easy right now, but General Summer's sale ENDS right before the expansion begins. So you might want to buy some...maybe.
What might also be worth noting is that when you pay 20 silver for packs what you get is "25 Mysterious Chips". Yes, a pack is labeled "Mysterious Chips". When you open one "Mysterious Chips" pack, you get a message that you have acquired "15 Mysterious Chip" (singular instead of plural).
So a "Mysterious Chips" in the game message means a pack and a Mysterious chip means a chip.
Wouldn't it be a kick if the chip cost turned out to be "500 packs of chips"???0 -

They should make all instances lvl 1 accessable, because OMG you don't want to leave 3d cyber chatroom world or grind or lvl up or work together with ppl to accomplish something.
WHy can't lvl 1's farm warsong? This game is too hard. People should not have to lvl up to use endgame content, that is the dumbest idea i've ever heard.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I'm just curious... Why do you want a guild base? The advantages I see in it is advanced crafting and buff crafting, which since you "could give a **** about PK or TW " are fairly useless to you and the currently available gear or resources in the game are MORE than enough to handle the instances.0 -

Technically guild bases are there for those who can afford to enjoy them, not for "ALL" of us. If you can't come up with the fee, join a faction that can or work harder with what you have, farm, and be patient. Don't have enough high levels to farm Warsong? Go FC and level, it's not rocket science... those of us 100+ managed okay - and before you start screaming "HYPER BABY" just hush, I leveled "naturally" to 97 before I ever owned a hyper stone - sure, took me a year and a half, but so? PWI only grants instant gratification to those with credit cards b:chuckle
Threads like this really crack me up - PWI expects you to work for something??? OMG!!! You have to EARN something??? Holy ****!!! Nevermind, just ask mommy for her credit card and buy a guild base, np b:cool0 -

I'm total agree with this, no ofense but to be honest I don't think that the GM's made the Guild base for all factions, if you take a look at the requirements, first it says is lv3 faction, then 200m coins................... Maybe other materials can be easy to farm or buy but this, at least for me, looks like an end-game new improvement........ Anyway we can't solve something that we even have till............. x.x[SIGPIC]C:\Users\Fatima\Pictures\neivindicatequickfix.png[/SIGPIC]0 -
I'm surprised they don't have three different sizes of guild bases. Small for lvl 1 factions, medium for lvl 2 factions, and large for lvl 3 factions. Each size offering increasing rewards.

+1 and quoted for truth.
Bases aren't something every idiot who thinks it will be cool to have the word "Leader" written over his head should have.
If people can't farm emblems they should lvl to 100 and go farm some... Not difficult. If you dont have any people capable of doing warsong in your whole faction you don't deserve a guild base.
It's stupidly easy to get a guild base if you ask me. I could get one by myself just for the faction I use to house my alts if i wanted to. My factions going to get two, one is for our faction we put alts and people who are too low to join in.
The only even slightly difficult/time consuming thing is farming the emblams. Take that out and getting a guildbase would take the average faction all of 10 minutes to collect donations off members and buy the sht they need.0 -
Level 3 Faction: 100+ Members
2,000 Subs / 100 = 20 subs/member
200,000,000 coins / 100 = 2,000,000 coins/member
500 Chips /100 = 5 chips/member
500 Emblems / 100 = 5 Emblems / member
Seriously, if you can't get that done, you don't deserve a Guild Base. The faction I'm in has some 130-150 members and we already have people who have said that they'd donate 5,000,000 coins in a heartbeat.
Really, if you have a Level 3 faction with 50 members, then you're doing something really wrong.
I'm not exactly rich and I can say that if I had to pay 1/150th of the price of a guild base, it wouldn't really make much of a dent to my in-game finances.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.
If you see b:cute be sure to take a second, calm look at anything I said.0 -
My interpretation is that guild bases are of more interest 9x to 10x players so that they have something to do
They will be fairly easy to obtain but will take time and guild effort to build up. The descriptions indicate it should take about 3 months or so on average to get all they will have to offer.
The 40vs40 should help give an alternative to TW for the smaller lvl3 guilds to enjoy. I hoping this is true anyway. It will also provide incentive for larger guilds to grow
I think b4 more QQing ensues, lets wait and see what they will really be like LOL0 -

hum i think that this is a valid observation.
it looks more reasonable too, the chip part of the fee would be comparable to the rest.
on the other hand, without chip sale it is impossible to get chip packs; at least not the 15chip ones cause u get 10chip packs with tokens. but maybe u need the token chip pack?
we shall see.0
