problems logging in to PWI site, is my region banned?

I'm having problems with access to my account on the PWI site. I can log in to the game normally but can't do it on the site. When trying to log in, I either get a message "Our sincerest apologies, we cannot provide service to players in your region or to players using open proxies", or just get a 404 error. I am not using proxy and my region (Russia) has not been excluded from PWI service so far.
Obviously I am not banned as my character is currently ingame. I use Firefox and Opera, tried both with the same result. Some people in my faction are from Russia and they are experiencing the same problem.

I've sent a ticket, here is the response: There are no restrictions listed for the account. You should be able to login properly. Please re-log and try again.

I have re-logged and tried again and again with no success.

Now I have connected via proxy, just to be able to send this message on the board, maybe somebody will help me.

    I sincerely apologize for the experience friend. There could be intermittent internet service or throttling occurring regionally between your computer and our servers. Please power cycling your PC and networking gear and try again.

    hmmm, sorry but the issue doesn't look like an internet connection one. I have no problem so far logging in the game, and it is on the same servers isn't it?
    And I don't think it is intermittent service to blame, some people in the faction haven't been able to log in on the site for more than 24 hours. We are sort of panicked, b:surrender please help us b:thanks

    I sometimes get this issue when I try logging in under my VPN...

    Actually I got several of my accounts banned when I logged in using a VPN...guess they thought I was a botter or something.

    Proxy connections actually are not allowed.

    Try using a different web browser?
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    could your browser be set up to automatically use a proxy of some sort, such as the TOR network? that often produces the result you describe.

    I can log in game but authorization on site fails so I can't get blessing or charge ZEN, view DQ points etc.
    In addition support says:
    Please re-register an account with the information you have provided. A search through our database has not located any account with this info.
    I'm playing on nonexistent account b:laugh

    many members of my faction have the same problem - they can log in into the game without problem and can not login into the site. some of them cannot see the pages of site at all. it seems like region banned - mostly of the are from Russia. please check the problem
    P.S. asked about the proxi-server - many don't know what this mean at all

    i had this problem too today. first time in 2 and a half years. but i do not log on the forum with my account on a regular basis. using the "login" on the forum page not worked, tried the billing thingi to log in there, not worked, tried the dq page, that worked. perhaps the forum or whatever server has some sort of bottleneck problems?

    I have the same problem too. I can't charge ZEN because of "banned region" problem. And of course I'm from Russia.
    It looks like international discrimination. What should we do? This is not fair.

    this problem solved but now-another one.selectPlayerscreen in LoMa can give me choice only first char and dont see player information....
    all acoount`s PWI games tied to the fact that there??

    i'm having the same problem with my other account where my main is on. i have the seeker and mystic on this account. and this account lets me login, but the other does not let me do so. just letting you know that one works while the other does not.
