    I think maybe I should apologize for anything negative I've ever said about PWI management / marketing. b:surrender

    From now on I'm giving them a free-pass on any and all cash-shop sales, no matter how negatively they may affect in-game prices, since people will apparently complain about "high prices" no matter what they do.

    umm yeah i have been. as the price of gold goes down the price of everything valuable goes up, and other things become worthless.

    I never wanted packs to go away. I am not a cash shopper, so I do not buy them. I just need cheap tokens / mana food, because my Cleric and my Psychic need them... Tokens are getting way too expensive and I have to use up all my daily income to get Herb Yuanxiao. It's not easy for a non cash shopper. I do buy some gold rarely (2-3 times a year), but I live in a poor country and 10 dollars to me is like 1000 to the Americans...... This is the only reason why I want the packs to come back. I would farm herbs if I had the time, but I can't be online all day, I have a life. The mana food I get for the tokens were perfect but soon I can't afford them anymore.

    i prefer to buy gold at 800k and tokens at 10k than gold at 400k and tokens at 20k b:avoid

    lol I wonder how many of these people QQ'ing about no pack sales have played since before packs even came out.

    Have you guys ever heard of regular pots? Thats how I roll, no need for tokens. And I, along with many people, are thrilled that due to no pack sale, the price of gold has gone down.

    Its not like packs arent around anyway, they are still in the boutique.

    I just really really hope that PWE has finally realized that over excessive pack sales will continue to ruin the gold economy.

    The cheaper gold is, the more demand there will be for it, which causes more people to charge for it, to sell it. A nice, stable economy with a nice, stable flow of cash for PWE.

    I dunno about other servers, but on RT gold is still higher than during any pack sale, it shot up during rep sale and has gone down a bit, but gold is still higher than the average pack sale.

    Gold is not going to go down with Rep/Chips in Boutique anyway, but it's not going to go up further because of lack of packs lol. If anything people who are shooting for rank IX should be gobbling up gold atm.

    Pretty much. At maint shutdown, gold on LC was still just above 700K. That's worlds better (from an economy standpoint, not a selling standpoint) than the 950K-1M that gold was at when I came back to the game a month and a half ago.

    If they can resist temptation, we might see a reasonable economy in the next few weeks. b:victory

    This. People were doing just fine before packs came out...such thing as mana management existed. We've been spoiled by cheap event foods (myself included) so much that nobody even picks up potion drops anymore. And let's face it, even with 16k tokens mana foods are still really cheap.

    Though I'm still hoping for pack sales. I like my cheap tokens. Spoil me more please! It'd be even more perfect if you added reset notes and stuff as options for token exchange b:dirty

    Personally I like the fact that there have been no pack sales. I'm ready for gold prices to go down some. Who remembers the days of gold being 95K?? b:surrender
