Friends List Tracking?

So basically the other day a person added me on her friends list and from then on kept saying exactly where i was because it lists your level and location when u mouse over someone's name, but when i tried this Both level and location were listed as "Unknown" does anyone know why this happens to me?b:thanks
Once there was an Assassin... He killed everyone. The End...

    Click on "refresh" in the rightclick menu

    Doesnt it say unknown when the other person is in some type of instance. Yea.. bad memory.

    I believe it just shows a blank if the other person is in an instance, or otherwise off the main world map.
