For all those who have changed to Sin or Psy, I pity. I Play my Wiz with NO REGRETS!Even though i may end up being the only Wiz alive left i wont turn my back on my favorite class. Now for my real question. all my cousin says is VIT VIT VIT! is he right on making my wiz have 60 VIT?.....

    i'm not a wizard.
    but i support wizards and love to squad with them.

    for all the wizards out there, you have my bow, in any fb/tt/bh/fc what have you.

    for all those who say that wizards are terrible at anything but endgame i say go role your 5aps sin or your axe bm and crawl in a corner with the rest of the 'i'm better then you' trolls and let those of us who enjoy the game enjoy it.

    I must admit: I love my archer, she's my main, and my psy has grown on me surprisingly. But for sheer unadulterated glee, nothing beats dropping a flaming rock from a great height on an unsuspecting target. I find playing a wizzie just plain fun, no matter if it's only grinding on mobs. And my archer, too, is always happy to squad with a wiz.

    To the OP, you can put points in vit but they're going to come out of mag, which is where your damage as a wiz comes from. Keep that in mind when you're contemplating any build.

    Still too soon, you will regret picking wizzie closer to endgame :P

    I'd suggest 50 Vit max, it can be restatted with just 1 reset scroll if needed.
    And if you want better survivability then yes, 50 base Vit is good.

    ok why would he regret being a wizzie closer to end game hell im a lvl 101 wizzie and she is my main and will always be my main, mages kick *** and no matter what all ways will

    a. highly annoying use of color in a post.

    b. you are not end game yet - get to 100 and you may have some regrets.

    c. wiz is definitely the most fun class, imo, just not the most useful. to the contrary, its one of the least useful in the game.

    d. alot of the people (at least end game) that rerolled to sin do so to farm gear for their wiz, since wizards have virtually no ability to earn at end game.

    Naw, that's not true. At endgame, wizzes are great in TW. And on pve servers, that's like 90% of your pvp if not 100%.

    twice your magic attack,
    twice your Hp
    and 5 times your pdef

    :) lvled up in 2 weeks to do TW, yey!?..

    Kind of like Aujami's LA psy that wears a -int cape, phys atk rings, and +12 r8 soulsphere?

    I never wrote that he has to stat Vit, I wrote that if he wants to do so then he should cap it at 50 max.


    Difference between 5k and 5,5k HP is like between being oneshotted by r8 archer or getting charm tick & escaping from said archer (popular TW scenario).


    If 500 HP is useless to you then go ahead and shard your stuff with g7 citrines. You will save a lot of money on what is most important - smileys and fashion.

    @ Ravenblossom: I have never said that wiz isn't a fun class to play. The source of regret is the fact that wizard isn't self-sufficient coin-wise: you either need to cash shop a lot, have a farming alt or you will suck terribly.

    Yes yes, I know. All you people on lost city think noone clicks that button at the top of the screen.

    The only thing we can't do on pvp servers is inflate our kill count by camping the swamps b:surrender

    And yes, TW and (for now) RB are still the only useful thing wizards can do in game that other classes can't do better.

    They only hit you with one arrow at a time? Your archers must suck. Usually its stun arrow, followed by 3-4 more that crit for what? at LEAST 2.5-3k each. Oh sure, its possible to escape them if they attack you at absolute maximum range and you use a genie skill, but otherwise . . . .

    Um, better be at least be perfects if not G11 shards - if not, it won't be the difference between 5k and 5.5k, it will be the difference between something like 4.4k and 4.9k .

    skrew vit, if yer an arcane wearer, just go full mag. lets face it, if anything gets to you, even with abit of vit, they're probly gonna kill ya, however if you kill them before they can get near ya, you shall live.

    You are totally right, being oneshotted is a far far more useful tactic than surviving stun arrow, using genie skill and getting out alive... You must be a credit to your guild.


    And 5k hp vs 5.5k hp is in fact 6.5k hp vs 7.1k if we throw in barb buff. Still claiming it's non factor amount? :p

    You're an idiot and and provide better entertainment than prof ever did. I originally rolled a wiz on a pve server and had the most kills on that server before I quit playing pwi a year ago. I rerolled LC because I KNOW pvp on a pve server is terrible.

    The sad thing is that I still have more kills than you on that character that I haven't logged for a year. b:chuckle
