Female barbs are called Barbies.
I move to call male venomancers: Testosteromancers.

Methinks Andromancer would not work for my ideal male veno.0 -
but how to make them look anything other than female? the venos are, next to the clerics, some of the most feminine looking of the characters in the game, , to me at least.
i do agree,though, there should be a male version venos, just as there should be a female version of barbs[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Something to keep in mind is that the venomancer class is based off a creature from Chinese folklore. They tend to be portrayed as exclusively female, hence the class being gender locked.

I suppose part of the blame falls on PWE for not presenting any substantial lore which explains in detail the game's world or the source material, though they aren't the only ones guilty of it. This sort of sloppiness is common on the part of most FTP mmos.
Perhaps this one issue that might be solved better by a decent writer rather than by a programmer.0
