why i left level 42 for level 43

Before I begin I must express my thanks to what is currently the level that I've spent the most amount of time in on the RT server, that is, level 42. Even more specifically I must thank 41, 40, 39, 38, 37, and other previous levels, who from level 1-43, have been in the majority of my oracles's and BH's. That I chose to be kicked out of 42 is in no way a reflection on the levels integrity, I did not leave over personal squabbles or drama.

I was kicked simply because experience was maxed. Upon reaching level 42 I have for the most part stopped playing. My exp has stayed at 10% for almost 6 months, I have not done dailies for 4-5 weeks in a row, and while I'm on, all I ever do is sit on the roof at OT and wait for BH's. In short I no longer felt level 42 offered me any more excitement to play the game. Its hard to even look foreward to TW because it's so far away. As I continue, note that I am in no way bashing level 42, although later the tone of this post will change.

If I had simply left it at this I think many people would be content. So far these are cogent and recognizable facts, however my chosen alternative to level 42 (level 43) seems to afford absolutely no understanding.

I know this because today I came online to level.

My reasons for leveling to 43 are simple. It is without question the most interesting level on the RT server simply because its goals are based on the trait of 'grinding'. That is, level 43 seemed to resist giving experience for quests for the sake of resisting. But now the goal is clear and its possibility near (or nearing).

Level 43 at this moment is the only level that can resist the monotony that is endgame. I suspect that within 1 to 2 weeks the level gap will close, at which point it will come down to gear and CS tactics. Both of which I admit level 43 will have to work on, but so will endgame.

I play PWI to escape and relax, we all play for different reasons, but one reason is common to all, and that is we all want to enjoy oursevles. Quite simply, I like having challenging levels, and really, must I provide detailed answers to justify my decision? I think not. How we, how you, interact with a digital world is entirely up to you.
