Problem with Unicorn Forest quest chain

All right, I've done full Delta to kill the Sori Legion Marshal, I can access the Unicorn Forest map after collecting Hero's Blood etc., and I've already done some quests inside Unicorn Forest. However, I cannot advance the quest chain to open the other maps.

This is where I'm stuck:

Crudge Crytal
Talk to Merchant Chief Lu (373 591) inside OUF
Dig Grudge Sediments (363, 596) - near river bank to obtain 1 Crystal of Grudge
Tip: you can also buy the grudge sediments from merchant Chief LU for 2k coins
Talk to Merchant Chief Lu (373 591)

I've done that. I have a Crystal of Grudge in my inventory. But I can't do anything with it. I've spoken to everyone in the Merchant Encampment, and all they have for me are the cycle quests to kill 60 mobs, or an option to sell/buy more Crystals of Grudge.

Being Entrusted
Talk to Traveling Vendor Po (371, 591) inside OUF
Talk to Whitewing Leader Tsu (362, 572) inside OUF
Talk to Kucheng (325, 575)
Kill 20 Human Alliance Officer (352, 638)
Talk to Whitewing Leader Tsu (362, 572)

This is where the quest breaks down for me. I can talk to Whitewing Leader Tsu, and she will give me a quest to kill 20 Human Alliance Officers. After that, I get a follow-up quest to kill a boss that basically one-shoots me, and which I don't think has anything to do with the quest chain to open the other maps. I never get a quest or prompt of any kind to talk to Kucheng - who I've visited, numerous times, prior to talking to Tsu, before killing the 20 Human Alliance Officers, after killing the 20 Alliance Officers, etc.

I've talked to everyone. All Messengers of Times ( already got my reward belt ), the Sage of Prophecy inside OHT, the Celestial Savant in Heaven, the Spiritual Disciple, pretty much every Elder I can think of, and so on and so forth.

    Problem solved.

    ( For those interested, I had to kill said boss after all. It's weird, because the guide doesn't mention it, and none of the people who had done the full delta with me had to kill the boss, Fallen Forest Watcher. Anyway, I can now go on with the quest chain. )

    What you have to do in the quests depends on a few choices that you make with the npcs.

    Well, I've never done this quest chain before, and the guides don't mention that. I probably wouldn't have thought that I was stuck if not literally everyone else in my delta squad getting other choices/mobs to kill than me. But all good now, crisis averted. =)

    There was a choice you do in OHT where you can pick to either kill some mobs or kill some bosses basically.

    If you kill mobs in OHT you kill a boss in OUF and if you kill the bosses in OHT you get the mob quest in OUF.
